does any one else have this sort of problem i.e. their resolve is tested....I mean like tonight i wouldnt have hesitate in going out to spend £30 tonight and drinking loads but i know i need to curb this cos i so want to clear my debts...sorry to ramble on but i needed to get that off me chestSavings Total so far for 2023: £8,062.580 -
I wanted to go out toinght but luckily my mates are skint so that has saved me £20 too!
I know what you mean James! Take a look at my sig....I'm really annoyed cos i undercalculated my debt (long story so i'm not going to tell it!) Although this year is my year i'm gonna Pay my £4k of overdrafts off (which I moved to a 0% card) and then next year concentrate on blasting my egg loan to death!
Your not alone we all want to have splurges and we all have setbacks but we can overcome them!In debt no more!0 -

Oh, I get tempted all the time! We normally have dinner in the staff canteen because they do fantastic freshly made sandwiches which are huge and "only" £1.60 each. But if you go to the canteen you have to get a drink to go with them, and maybe some crisps... At £3.50 a day that's nearly a grand a year!
As for going out drinking... I don't dare! After the first I have a total lack of self control and end up having plenty many! I normally take the car now so that I can't drink. It also means that all my mates love me as I act as a cheap taxi driver at the end of the night
