James - you are doing so so well - am really proud of you hun!!
When is your predicted debt free date? What are your plans after that?
xx0 -
Hiya hun :hello:
Im just putting my head down and trying to plough trough this big time, doing all the over time under the sun at the moment, but i wont get that until the end of april but hopefully it should be a big wedge that i can pay another huge chunk of my loan :j
Having a look i think my predicted debt free date will be hopefully next year february time although my first over payment on my loan hasnt changed the debt free date cos it was just short of one months payment on the loan.
From the end of this month is when i can start hitting it big time and by the end of april i should be wacking of major chunks of it .
Once i have made my self debt free im going to be ploughing away saving for a deposit on a house :j cos i want to get a massive deposit together for it :jSavings Total so far for 2023: £8,062.580 -
Far too much use of the word 'hun' in this thread - lol but what a great thread, chuck the whole lot at the loan, then you won't be tempted to use it on something else (not that I think you would, you seem to be doing amazing!).0

cheers mate
lol and yeah probably overuse the word hun when typing :rotfl:
Must admit i am giving serious consideration of throwing the whole lot at it jsut to give myself more of an incentive in battering it down even more and give myself a psycological boost just doing as much as poss to get this loan downSavings Total so far for 2023: £8,062.580 -
