think ive managed to pin down why ive been having such bad nights sleep for the past month or so........i desperatly need a new matress the one i have i can feel all the springs through and there digging into me.

Tried turning it over over the past few months to see if that helps but its definatley busted :rotfl: Just been dragging it out the last few months so i didnt have to spend alot of money.

Going to Ikea either tonight or tommorrow but i reckon a double mattress is going to cost over £120 quid :(

fortunatley i can use my savings to pay out for this.

Also my mum has had several offers on her house which hopefully if one goes thorugh i can get me savings back that i lent her yyiiiiippppppeeeee!!!

Although i will be sad though cos when she does move it will just leave me out of my family left in london.......cos my brothers are moving down with her as well and my dad lives up in newcastle. :(

Ultimatley thats why im living with my mate and his grilfriend cos i never wanted to move in the first place.......i thought that she would be moving last year cos the house has been on the market just over a year.

Bit of a landmark as such cos thats the house ive been brought up in im 28 lol seems a bit stupid but slightly attached to the house lol

Basically my mum isnt moving that far (well 60 odd miles away so a fair distance lol) but will just feel slightly alone for the first time cos my family isnt round the corner from me any more :(

Sorry for the rambling peeps :)

    Hi there James,

I quite understand how sad it is. You do get attached to places. Have you got photos? Maybe take a few before your Mum sells, your old room, garden anything else that you think was special. Ilost my parents whenI was about your age and have found it really hard to get rid of their stuff. (You should see our house stuffed to overfilling!). I'm just managing to get on with it now and I take photos first "in case" I miss the stuff later. A photo is as good as the object sort of thing. Ah well, it works for me.

    Have a good day.

Excellent news for me !!!! :j

Went into Ikea last night and choose a matress for myself it was a £150 and was more than what i wanted to spend but i thought i might as well get it cos i need a decent matress and my sleeping has been somewhat erratic as of late and i need to get a decent nights sleep.

So i qued at the checkouts ready to pay for it and when they scanned the label it came up at £30!!!

The description came up on the till for exactly what type of matress it was, i was a bit taken back and a bit shocked it came up at that, the cashier said that was cheap for a matress, i was lost for words but my mate jumped in saying to her thats what price they were.

She never queried it took my payment and we left so i got a nice new £150 matress for just £30 :j so i saved my self £120 :j really pleased cos it means i can save on to some more money now and possibly throw some more money at my debt :j

I love it when things like that happen! bargin matteress!!

I know exactly what you mean about moving (think I just skipped a few pages). We should our house last year & moved to Newcastle. My sister who had moved out 9 years previously still felt very attached & still has to walk past the house on occassions (she didn't move up here). I have pics of all the rooms in the house & the garen (I spent so much time doing that garden up to sell!)

Hiya guys just sitting here at the moment mulling over question and hope some of u have some ideas to what i should do ........

When my mum has sold the house i will get back the money i have given her plus she said she was going to give me a bit more (Approx £400) Said i didnt want the money cos i was only to glad to help her out:o , but shes adamant shes going to give it to me cos she has no mortgage and once shes moved down to the coast she will have a lot of free money from the house sale in the bank.

(This is due to the houses she is looking at costing far less than what she is getting for her current house)

Once this happens i will have around £1700 in savings :j .........Now my question is Do u think i should use this money to make a massive dent in my loan?

Would like to here what you guys think

    cheers guys :T
