Must lose weight !! Need to lose a stone. Want to live on salads - lettuce & greens from the garden because I have tons all coming at once.
I dont LIKE salads. Can anybody please jazz it up for me so that I will eat the bloody things ?0 -
Are your salads well-dressed
Invest in a good bottle of extra virgin, cold-pressed oil, and use this only for dressing.
You can make salad tiede (warm salad) too, with broccoli, beans (green and pulses), peas, etc, which are delicious, with a good dressing.:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Just pour olive oil neat, over the salad PP? And I cant eat broccoli or anything green unless its hidden in a pile of cream or cheese...:D0

Well, you can do that, or you can mix it about 3:1 with vinegar of your choice (I like balsamic or wine) and a dash of mustard (as an emulsifier to stop the dressing separating). You can then add garlic, herbs, and other seasonings of your choice.:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
