I got some from e-bay a few months ago, they were about £10 for 8x2300mAH NiMH. Can't see them on there now, but they do have these ones that look a reasonable price

I am looking for a recharger + batteries (AAA) for my digital camera. It says do not use manganese? batteries. How can I make sure I buy the right stuff?0

Get a set/pack of Nimh batteries with charger. They are usually coloured green as opposed to red (Nicad)( tho Sony ones are orange) As dicussed earlier. Prices vary, AAA unfortunately cost more, the choice is yours. Jessops sometimes have offers,
You can use "non rechargeable Alkaline batteries like Duracell.
Manganese or zinc (cheap torch) batteries will not be powerful enough and will probably leak.
(definitely Do NOT buy the Nicad types.as they do not hold as much charge/power and will fail after a year or so)Moi....?

Anyone seen any size D rechargables for a good price?
Try https://www.vapextech.co.uk for most sizes of Ni-MH rechargeable batteries and also battery chargers at reasonable prices. This seller also uses eBay to sell their products under the ID "seeyoume".
I've also purchased batteries from ebay sellers whose user ID's are "jmtaxi" and "itl-e" who both sell good rechargeable batteries and chargers fairly cheaply.

AA Fujifilm NiMH four pack batteries 2100 mAh are just £3.40 + VAT each pack from https://www.mdsbattery.co.uk works out as £4.73 inc VAT each pack including post if you buy four packs. Not the highest capacity, but good value for lovely NiMh batts and just over a quid a cell. Good service as well.
I'm not trying to promote this seller and I haven't got any involvement in them or their sales but..... the prices at https://www.vapextech.co.uk beat most of those quoted in the recent posts - for example:
4 packs of 4xAA Ni-MH batteries 2400 mAh works out at £4.10 (inc VAT and delivery) for each pack
The prices of the other batteries are also a bit cheaper than those quoted in many of the other posts. What goes around - comes around.

Thanks, just ordered 2 packs of AA 2400 and 2 packs of AAA 900 and including P&P which was £2, it all came to £16. For orders made from the UK or the European Union are VAT Free Brilliant deal. Do we also get the plastic cases??? ;D ;DNo reliance should be placed on the above.0

Parley,
When I ordered some AA size batteries, they came with the plastic storage cases included - I think they are supplied as "standard".
