  • I'd like to say a word in praise of The Watch Battery shop and their helpful no frills site.

I have no personal link or financial interest in this business - I have just been a customer, having bought watch batteries, a replacement cordless phone battery and a charger + rechargable NiMH batteries from them.

The no frills web site which will allow you to order a watch battery, camera battery, digital camera battery, cordless phone battery and in fact almost any battery you'll need and have it delivered to your door, post free in the UK.

Having said all that, I would visit the shop using Internet Explorer which as an ardent FireFox user slightly niggles me - unless you get all the java downloads sorted. Alternatively FireFox will easily browse their HTML-only version

Other than that I am very pleased with their goods, attitude and value.

    Enjoy! ;D
  • Anyone seen any size D rechargables for a good price?
  • I have seen some rechargable batteries going for a pound in the pound shop, they are of a foreign make.. but they should do the job...

I never thought you could recharge non rechargable batteries... Why if those batteries that you recharge which are non rechargeable leak, it could muck up some expensive equipment.
