Couldn't agree more. I'd class myself as agnostic (having been raised a Christian) but don't got forcing my morals and opinions on others like the current crop of "religious" politicians. Religion and Politics should NEVER mix and the sooner we get to that stage, the better off we'll be.

I'm not saying people can't have their views but it's how they protray them on Radio or TV that makes them sound like complete idiots.. Don't push your beliefs on other people... If the Ulster Museum want to put on a display about Darwin.. so be it.. but don't get all Holy Joe and insinuate God created man from the Dirt (LITTERALLY).
I'm not saying I don't believe in God/Some Superior Thing. (Whatever you want to call it.. but I really think a lot of these Bible Bashers are taking the word of the Bible Too Literally... I would read it to mean Man was created from the Earth.. Over Millions of years.. Not In a day!!

I see this same Eeeeeeeeeegit now also wants an alternative version of events to be presented at the new visitor centre at the giants causway to suggest that the Causway is only a few thousand years old as opposed to the 500 million or so!! Yeah and the dinosaurs died of 3000 years ago...

Alas if all of our politicians only spoke about what they knew about there would be no government at all. Although whether than would be a good or a bad thing I couldn't possibly say.
