You will need to apply. Capital One do not move people up like that. Well done on managing your cards so well.

Agreed, capital one don't do upgrade's the same as you can't now upgrade from a barclaycard initial no more, so if anyone thinking of applying for any of these cards and want an upgrade unfortunately you have to make a new application.

I got a` letter from vanquis saying i had been pre approved to be accepted for a vanquis credit card and i chose my card colour and returned the completed application to them , I got a phone call today from vanquis with a few questions confirming name address phone number etc then told me i'd been accepted , I was thenoffered a cash advance and tried to sell me protection at 1.something percent over £100 he was very pushy then he tried to sell me £6 a month fraud protection , when i said i didn't want it he said why i said cos its £6 a month , he spoke to me like he was reading out some bla bla bla quickly , when this welcome pack comes in the post in 10-14 days or so i presumably have to phone to activate it and will make sure i dont have plans fees and charges on it as i feel this "salesman" put me on stuff i dont want ..

The card was delayed but it should easily be within two weeks if it all goes fine.

"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."

All truth goes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.
