I ordered 2 breakfast hampers on Thursday morning about 8.45am and had given up hope that I would get them, it has said being processed ever since, even earlier on this morning but is now saying that order has been despatched!

Wonder if its because I ordered quite a few other things as well, still won't really believe it until they are in my hands. This is the most excited I have got over xmas shopping. ;D

Got my breakfast hamper & fibreoptic tree last night when I got home. Hamper was in well wrapped brown box inside huge brown box with tree.

Can't help but feel you'd be mad to have paid full price for that breakfast hamper. OK at £9-ish it's a steal, but at £35-ish? No way... would cost about £17 tops individually bought!

My girls love the tree - it's sitting outside on the rockery looking very festive!
  • No brekkie hampers for me :(

Oh well , 3 more pressies to buy
  • just got a email saying the celebration hamper is on its way but the 2 breakfast hampers i ordered are unavailable.
  • No e-mails here and no hamper either

Altho I have logged in to find a expected dispatch date of 16th

Old Faithful we roam the range together,
Old Faithful in any kind of weather,
When the round up days are over,
And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.
Giddy up old fella cos the moon is yellow tonight,
Giddy up old fella cos the moon is mellow and bright,
There’s a coyote crying at the moon above,
Carry me back to the one I love,
And you old faithful pal of mine.

I think mine are supposed to be dispatched tomorrow, (15th). No cancellation email yet, so anything is still possible.

Just to be sure, I emailed Boots yesterday to ask whether I would be receiving my breakfast hampers, but no reply so far. Gave up on the telephone approach after waiting for about 20 minutes listening to friendly but useless recorded messages!

I'll just have to do the traditional thing and keep my fingers crossed.

  • have you checked your orders online in your account?

I also spent ages on the phone trying to contact then yesterday. I got a email today saying that my celebration hamper was despatched yesterday.

it is really annoying actually at the thought that they allow orders to be confirmed then cancel the orders at a later date. surely they should have a more accurate stock check system which would avoid a lot of dissapointment to customers.

so I got the celebration hamper for £19.60 and free delivery and they are sending me a £5 voucher for the innconvience of cancelling my 2 breakfast hampers.
  • also just wondering what is the chance of the £75 hamper being further reduced???

    Any idea? :o
