we ordered 2 breakfast hampers and a load of 3 for 2 stuff 11pm Wednesday - just had a mail saying hampers are unavailable. The points total has gone down 200 too, but we used the 10% discount which is still the same as the orignal
"As an apology for cancelling this item, we will include a promotional code on the paperwork in your order that will entitle you to a 5 pound discount off your next order over 10 pounds. To use the code, simply enter it in the space provided on the Shopping basket screen and hit 'update order'. Your order total will then automatically be amended to reflect your discount."

I will admit to not being a great fan of shopping, (except for bargains, supermarkets, or online, of course!), but I think most men are even worse at it than I am.
On the rare occasions I have been shopping with partners, they have variously disappeared into the pub, got lost in HMV, or worse, developed that glassy-eyed stare that they get when you try to talk to them about other people's children!
God knows I love men, (even if they do appear to be a completely separate species from womankind sometimes), but I'd rather die than go Christmas shopping with one.
Happily, I have managed to almost totally avoid High Street shopping this Christmas. (Not counting the 99p Shop, wombling around Asda, and picking up the odd item reserved at Argos.)
I bought 75%-off Boots bargains in August and got great deals online for all the rest of it.
I'm even having an organic turkey delivered by Sainsburys to You on the 20th, (using customer services codes stored after problems with a couple of deliveries earlier in the year).
All I need to do now is to pick up fruit and veg a couple of days before Xmas. Never been so organised. 8)
Oh, and write my damned Christmas cards - Argh!A penny saved is a penny gained0 -
Do these hampers still come in a box if I didn't select gift wrapping as im hoping it does as i ordered it for my dad and i bet he answers the door. I hope it comes in a brown normal box and not just open can someone please tell me what to expect so i know weather or not to run 2 the door first.0
