I don't know why I bother
I ask for advice about dealing with horrible/awkward people and they basically say you have to accept it.
Is this country so scared of people and accept the cr @ppy attitudes we are forced to take. Are we such compliant sheep? They are probably the muppets who voted for our rubbish government and think they are still great for slowly destroying our country.
No wonder the UK is such a cesspit:mad:An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

CCStar - maybe you would feel less stressed if you scaled down what is worrying you. You have said that you are in a situation that you can't control and that's awful for you (and I know how you feel) - BUT - you are also getting yourself all strung out over things that you can't control, the Government, interest rates etc etc.
While you feel as bad as you obviously do, you need to keep your worries closer to home so that IF there is something you can do to change things or make them better, you actually can.

feeling restless and unsettled tonight, so opened a bottle of wine to help me relax. been a funny week with the weather, kids were only at school weds, hopefully the weather will be ok in the morning and they can go for the last day of the week
not been a bad tho, son josh is really into teddy bears, and he got a new surgeon's outfit from build a bear today for one of them, and he has been playing hospitals today, not a big deal really, but its the first time he has played anything imaginative except bus drivers, which he has a real obsession with, not helped by him now having a full official arriva bus uniform, that he wears often, even to school on some days lol
in fact one day a teacher questioned where he had got it from
hugs all

not had too bad a week myself, except for a wee hiccup at the start of the week. That was my own fault though cos I'd jumped to conclusions again as usual
had a good week on the uni and job front though, got an interview next monday for a voluntary position that's one day a week for a few months; one of my classmates has a friend who is hiring for a paid position throughout the summer, so have passed on my details to her. Both of these positions are related to my degree topic so that makes it even better. Also, got an A on an essay I did before Christmas, and got my exam result back, I passed (just) but the mark from my coursework brought my overall mark up
hope everyone is well, including lurkers! xx0 -
I bet the teacher only asked where he had got it from because he/she was jealous and wanted one for him/herself
well done on passing the exams, and getting an A on your essay, and good luck for the interview
hugs

I don't need their obvious replies and served no purpose. It is amazing how feeling down attracts some dumb and nasty replies. It has been discussed on this thread that a 'pull yourself together approach' is as dumb as asking a person with a broken leg to run a marathon.
If people want to accept rubbish service, then they are as bad as the people giving it.
Shows how this country is so apathetic. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

I am taking a break from this forum (not this thread - the regulars on this thread are great)
It is my son's 21st today and don't need the rubbish I am getting elsewhere both in real life and the forum.
Hugs to anyone who needs them.
