  • I'm in a mess. Stress at work is tipping me over the edge and I'm about to go crashing down. Have made GPs appt for tomorrow and support worker is coming to see me this afternoon and informing CPN but the thought of anything to do with work now is making me feel sick. Have got headache, diarrhoea, painful frozen shoulder muscle symptoms and I don't know what else I can say now without describing symptoms etc. I just can't do any of this anymore.

Sweetheart, my thoughts are with you. Sounds like you are doing the right things - getting in touch with the professionals. I'm sure they will do all they can to help you. PM me if you want to talk and don't feel happy about talking openly on here.
Although you may not feel like it now, you ARE doing really well, you are fighting with a horrible illness and you CAN beat it. We all get bad patches, but they do pass and YOU WILL feel better. Just keep going a little while longer. Don't forget you have a lot of friends on here, and we are all here to support you.

I had a really bad day yesterday, had some bad news about some family friends - one had a stroke, one had a fall and broke her nose, and one is in hospital after an operation, has to stay in and have another op.
I couldn't get hold of my DH all day and somehow managed to convince myself that he had crashed because of the ice and died. Of course, he hadn't and when he got home he held me as I sobbed with relief.
Feeling quite flat today, trying to pick myself up. Am not doing anything I don't want to do today, I really need to take things easy. Am feeling traumatised after yesterday! I've been out and got chocolate, but feel sick now cos I ate too much! :rotfl: I'm a silly moo!
Hope everyone is ok today. I'm just watching tv and on the internet. I went out earlier and got some of those stamps on sale in Superdrug and posted a letter to France.
Love and hugs to everyone, keep warm and safe if you have snow/ice near you.

I totally agree. I know how work can make you feel like this. See your GP and take care of yourself. These are your main priorities. If you need to offload there are people here who care.
