PM will be with you today. Just a bit hectic here at the moment.
I've booked myself in for a hair appointment tomorrow. Yes, my long hair will be cut....although not short, just need some layers to give it some body as because it's so long, it can get lanky.Might have some taken off of the length though.
xx
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! don't do it please, ok just a couple of mm only0 -
budget_budd - i tend to try and set myself 3 to 5 tasks in the morning. Quite small ones, but ones I know will make me feel good if I do them. I always make sure I include one I can't fail at! So for example today:
- get showered and dressed - now this is the one I can't fail at!:D
- go to post office - have been putting this off for two weeks, so will feel really happy if i get this done
- download year 2 uni notes
- make jam tarts - the fun one to break up the day:T
I also give myself bonus tasks, so if I get all my other stuff done I do some of these, and then I treat myself - like maybe having an extra jam tart
And i write them down and put them on my wall, so I have to look at them, and there's no convincing myself that i just forgot hehe0 -
i hope you have a nice day katie
ccstar - i sure something will come up eventually - i'm all for thinking that if something bad happens it happens for a reason. Like last year, my driving test got cancelled 3 times, which in hindsight was a good thing because I wasn't ready to take it at any of those times, and in the end I passed it so I was really happy.
Maybe its just a way of giving you some more time to assess stuff? - i'm sorry if i'm barking completely up the wrong tree - don't really know anyone's stories yet!0 -
Morning everyone,
Hectic time here too...Reunion with my hubby in 2 days -making final preps. for the flight to China, bags weighed and measured, documents checked. Snow dug out of drive so can get to airport.
Tonight staying in Travelodge near Heathrow as further snow forecast.
Last minute hitches - don't you just love them? Men are good at making arrangements, but they don't always do the research, do they?
Just discovered the hotel he'd booked us in was on a busy main road (oh...he is going deaf!), and....the toilet in our room was...yep, a hole in the ground  Mind you, it was located opposite McDonalds and KFC. A man thinks of his stomach!!
All has now been put right, we're now staying in a quiet hotel on the seafront in Sanya (the Chinese Hawaii) temperatures now 26-30 degrees ahhhhh
Well haven't done any work for 3 days and its great!
Tiff - Well done on your recent excursions outside. Sounds like you are making big leaps of progress, not just baby steps. How about Alton Towers next- am sure MSE can get me a 2 for 1 ticket.
Flis21 - Lovely to see you posting again, but sorry to hear you feel your depression is worsening. Keep posting - we are hear to support you. The site you asked about was closed I'm told as no-one was posting there any more.
LadyM - We care about you. "Please stay safe on line" - the PM system is here to protect you. Sadly, someone may appear fine on the thread, but once they get your email/msn, they are not fine. 99% of people here are lovely, but safety first IYKWIM.
Rosepink1984 - Hi there to another Guildford girl (I often work there) and welcome.
Tulip - Thanks for reminding us of the Samaritan slippers draw on MSE - Stress Down Day is great. Your posts are always lovely.
CCStar - Sorry you're feeling back to the January blues. Not long till Spring - every day daylight hours are getting longer now which I hope will help lift your mood.
Glad and Savvy_Sue - Thank you so much for your continued support of this thread especially your time and efforts during recent difficulties.
Love to everyone CB2X0 -
Haha. Loads of people are like "Noooooo. Don't do it!". :rotfl:
I don't want too much off of the length. Just want it layered more than anything.
Sam isn't online yet and he was driving home from college so I'm worried. I'm sure he's fine but what with the icy weather and all, I can't help but get a little worried about him.
