This has really upset me today! I didn't particularly like Jade when she was in Big Brother but I think she has looked after her boys really well and you can tell she cares about them. She apparently had them christened so that they can think about God and about their mum in heaven and know that she is ok and watching over them. I think this is a lovely thing for her to do and shows what a good parent she was.

However, I just can't deal with death at all (I don't know why) and Im in bits because of the news. I could go to the funeral of a complete stranger and would be upset and I can't understand why.

I was meant to be going home today for mothers day. Was just about to leave to go and battle through a 4 hour journey of rail replacement, when mum messages me on msn saying she doesn't want me to come home, and that I can keep my card and present for her cos she doesn't want to know me.

I don't even know what I did wrong.

Thats really upsetting, Mezer. Is this typical of your mum or out of character? I have a friend whose mum was like that all the time and it is horrible. I hope its just a misunderstanding.

To all those that have lost their Mum's days like today must be very difficult so (((HUGS)))

Oh Mezer that was nasty of your Mum :( Do you normally get on well?

I didn't bother with Mother's day this year. Considering her last words to me were 'I don't give a !!!! about you' I didn't really feel like it, plus she's caused so much upset.

Such sad news about Jade :( RIP those poor boys losing their Mum is sad enough but on Mothering Sunday as well :(

hugs to mezer and rbk, as a mum myself, i dont know how they can say such things to their children.
hugs to tiff too, and anybody else who has lost their mum.
i'm so close to my mum now, i couldnt imagine life without her, but as a teenager growing up we had our differences, glad we sorted them tho, spoiled her with pressies today.
And as a sort of a mother's day treat to myself, i gave myself the day off cooking, and went to mc donalds with the kids, then went to mall cops at the cinema, was a funny film, and i enjoyed it, the same cant be said of the meal tho lol :rotfl: :rotfl:

    hugs all
