Did mine online last friday, will update the progress as it goes.

I'm going from a halifax direct isa 0.5% to the Natwest E-ISA. Printed the transfer form on the website and already have a current natwest isa open. Handed it in at the branch and no troubles so far.

I transfered the other way a couple of years ago and the whole process took about 5 weeks, lots of worry when they closed the old account and the money seemed to dissapear but it eventually turned up. You just have to be patient really.

Yes I will write a covering letter and write the E-ISA account number on the transfer form and photocopy it too. Seems a very basic omission not to have the account the money is to be transferred to on the form though.

I went into a branch to check if I could transfer the cash online from my existing Nat West cash ISA account to my Nat West EISA account (they are both showing online) because I too was worried it might count as a withdrawal rather than a transfer. The staff member rang their own help line and was advised I should fill out the appropriate transfer form. It turned out to be the exact same form I originally got to open the cash ISA but I manually added the additional details of my new EISA account quoting the account numbers I wanted the cash to go from and into. This was just over a week ago and I'm still waiting to see the balances move but I'm assuming it will all go smoothly.

I'm doing cartwheels. It went through today. That was seven working days so not too shabby.

WOW! My isa has actually gone from my A&L account and is in the either. Anyone know how long it takes to appear in my e-ISA account.

Its taken 3 months to get this far, it shouldn't take much longer should it?

The age of computers, mu god I could have have done this tranfer faster if I'd walked to my nearest airport 50 miles away caught a flight to Australia took a weeks break on a hot sunny beach caught a flight to New York done a bit of shopping and took a three week cruise, finishing my trip off with a 3 week trip in Afraca on a sarengeti safari. With time left to relax awhile.:rotfl:

    OMG! 3 months?!

I posted my form for a request to transfer from A+L to Natwest on 17th April and was getting concerned that it hadn't happened yet.

You mean I've got to wait another 2 1/2 months???!

transferred my natwest cash isa to this year's e-isa using the online application form. printed it off and sent it in and it all went like a dream, i.e. about 10 days. the person dealing with it transferred my money and any interest owing into my new account and my old one is closed and doesn't show up on my online accounts page. 3.51% here i come - woohoo!

When is the rate changing? I can't see anything on their site.

I applied on-line a month ago and yesterday got a letter saying my websaver account(that I didn't want) is now open: although I can't use it yet as they still have to send my login details. No sign of my Isa yet and that is before I transfer into it.
