WOW! My isa has actually gone from my A&L account and is in the either. Anyone know how long it takes to appear in my e-ISA account.

Its taken 3 months to get this far, it shouldn't take much longer should it?

The age of computers, mu god I could have have done this tranfer faster if I'd walked to my nearest airport 50 miles away caught a flight to Australia took a weeks break on a hot sunny beach caught a flight to New York done a bit of shopping and took a three week cruise, finishing my trip off with a 3 week trip in Afraca on a sarengeti safari. With time left to relax awhile.:rotfl:

I have already deposited 3.6k into my Natwest cash isa for 09/10, so opening e-isa with £0 then transfer (transfer form) all my savings to the e-isa I will not get taxed right?
Is it legal to open an isa account without paying £1 into it(not cashing in deposit slip)? Would Natwest chase up the £1 deposit so making you deposit in 2 isas in one year?
Most people on this thread seem to have done it. I am sure one of them will be along to reply for you

Not sure why you guys are having such problems.

I'm a new Natwest customer. Took 10 days to open my e-Saver and 8 days to open my e-ISA (including the weekend). I didn't post any of my forms back, took them all to my local Natwest branch and they used the internal post system. The local branch also certified all my identification documents for me. Haven't experienced the actual transfer yet, my current ISA doesn't mature until 22/5 so waiting to see how soon after the transfer date I stated on the form things get moving.

When did you appy for the account? Maybe you applied before the backlog developed, or maybe natwest are putting new applications at the top of the pile while the older ones remain at the bottom?

Applied for the e-Saver around 20 March and e-ISA around 1 April.

Just received my Natwest E-ISA account details through post and have looked at the transfer form on Natwest website to transfer my Halifax ISA saver direct.

What did other put on the Natwest transfer form for date of transfer? Do I just put todays date (don't think Halifax have set period/charge for transfer out)? Probably a silly questions but don't want to delay things more than already seems to be happening :)

    Thanks

Is it normal for my Barclays ISA account to disappear and my Natwest Isa to have £1 (from when i opened it)?

The Barclays ISA account was there 2 days ago when i checked..... now its not there anymore and theres no money been added to my Natwest ISA account.

Or is my money stuck in limbo?

I'm scared about my money :(, or shall i just wait a few days to see if it will show up in my Natwest ISA?
