After waiting for 4 weeks for my transfer to happen I rang them for an update.... Natwest have no record of my transfer request, can I complete another set of forms and start again  Not Happy!0

Just found out that transfering from an RBS ISA to Natwest e-ISA is possible. It was just some idiot at RBS talking out of his backside. Also found out Natwest has sent my transfer request to RBS and it is them who are dragging their feet (5 weeks now). That bank has really gone to the dogs!0

WOW! Finally after so many weeks the tranfer from A&L to Natwest has been finalized. It was a very big effort to get to this stage, but I feel such releaf thats its over, at least for now.:T
When, if, natwest should drop their rates then it will all start again.
Hey bagsacash, your transfer has been completed?
Is all your cash in the isa?
Mines still missing.
I seriously need to call up on friday when i get uni out the way (hopefully it'll show up before then) :mad:0 -
Yeah all my cash has finally been transferd - took about seven days for the transfer - and about 4 weeks to open the account.
Its crazy, I feel I've achieved something major, getting my degree wasn't has difficult as opening an e-isa.:rotfl:0 -

LOL! i think this is equally as annoying at my tests coming up.
Fustrating and scary .
So you had 7 days of "disappeared" cash right? or was just out then in?
Oh i also got a bank statement from my old isa. Showing that it was closed on 1st may. so in theory, it will be 10 days tomorrow! woot :T0 -
I have just opened my E-ISA with Nat West and the E savings account as well and it was a great deal of hassle for me.
I applied online and then was sent the paperwork to sign and return which I did. With no instructions regarding money I sent back with the application forms a cheque for £3600 stapled to it. I then after a couple of weeks received notification that my account application had been received. As there was no mention of my deposit I tried ringing the help line and even sued the online chat facility but got nowhere.
After a month when I receive notification that my account was opened and a statement there was no mention of any deposits. I again rang the help line only to get passed from one department to another with no one interested in helping me a sit was not their department that dealt with it. I was then sent back to the original department but a different operator who this time was very helpful. After explaining the problem she looked on the computer and said it showed a zero balance. I explained that over a month ago I had sent cheques and so she said she would look further as in that case a note should be on the account saying cheque received. She came back saying nothing on there. I was advised to contact my bank (not Nat West) and place a stop on the cheques which I did.
I then went into my local Nat west to pay into my ISA only to be told, they are up to their limit. It appears that after speaking to the help line someone has found the cheques and deposited them into the ISAs.
I still have no idea what has happened to the cheque sent for the savings account though. Can’t say I would want to use Nat Wets again.
I used the online way as I am unable to get to a bank during opening hours otherwise I would have done so. I am also now left with the problem that I have to send them money again once the stopped cheques get bounced.

If natwest only show the money in the account once the funds have actually cleared maybe the cheque wont bounce at all.0

Hi, I've just opened a natwest e-isa online, and as I already had a natwest account the process was relatively ok. But before I can proceed with the online transfer form it states that i must have read a number of documents. Shoud I expected to receive these in the post automatically? or do I have to request these by going into the bank? I can't find any links for online versions. I suspect that looking at these documents are just procedure but I'd rather read them before stating that I have actually read them.
I was wondering what info others have received through the post after opening the e-isa online (bearing in mind that I already had an account with Natwest)? And how long did it take?
Thanks0 -
Fewhit, they should come in the post along with your application or your confirmation letter (if you got your ac number and sort code immediately). Alternatively you can just click yes if you want to get the process sorted sooner rather than laterKavanne

Update
I received a message about a week & a half ago from Egg, saying my transfer has gone over to Natwest, but still no sign of the actual funds in my e-ISA account!0
