Hello, thought I would pop in as pigpen's bashing me with pillows on Facebook
Done 6 hours studying today and my brain hurts! Other than that tea was made/eaten DW filled and on, WM emptied and on airers, WM loaded and on. I've glanced at tomorrows list, DP still in middle of stripping wood so will work round his left efforts......been on doing it for weeks!
Right, I'm off to do not a lot then bed, after I remove my books from the bednight all x
One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
well, done as much as i'm going to tonight. Will be up early in the morning and living room's not bad so may get some more off the kitchen list too but not going to bust a gut.
having a cuppa while the baths running - my shoulders are really killing me now!
Pitlanepiglet - don't be too hard on yourself, i work fulltime too and don't even try to keep up with the posts - i go to the bottom of the page and read those ( it gives you a rough idea of whats going on) and leave the rest - these guys are far to fast for me to keep up with but they're very friendly and don't mind. As for the cleaning i started at level one and in 3 weeks i can fairly easily do level two and catch up with the rest at the weekend or on my day off. but even if i don't get it done i don't worry - it soon comes round again. like toots(?) said 'baby steps'
take care everyone & see you tomorrow

Evening ladies (and Oddjob)
Lovely evening, gave the list to the kids and told them to do what they could in half an hour so I could scan some photos for my friend. Went downstairs 2 hours later expecting there to at least be something to do and there isnt :T :T :T :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :A :A :A .
As I have now spent the last hour on phone to same friend I still havent done anything. Trouble is I saw someone had mentioned twinks, now do I go mess the kitchen up again or not.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

soappie - didn't see the TV, but a. ageism is illegal and b. I regularly employ people with no regard to their age (I have great difficulty in telling how old people are for a start). As far as I'm concerned, if the person can do the job, they can do the job... and in my experience, older women are by far the most efficient, focused and reliable. There's a huge pool of untapped talent out there in return to work mums (they don't mess around, they're grateful for the job, don't think the world owes them a living, and don't have time to waste) and older people with broad experience that I will never have but can benefit from. If other people can't see that, then they're missing out. I just with more older people would apply for the jobs I'm advertising... then again, I probably don't pay well enough  Sorry for the rant... it's one of those things that REALLY bugs meBTW... are you on linked in?!

Ironing done... and hot water thermostat adusted. Given that I live on my own I can't understand how it has gone up from 50-60... although it may have been the heating engineer when he did the service, as the water's been too hot for a while
Off to make hot water bottles... might manage to run the hoover round downstairs while they're being done (and as I don't plan to mop until the weekend, I'll consider Monday doneso watch this space toots!). Then bath and bed at (hopefully) a sensible time.
Fingers crossed it's warm & dry in the morning... I don't fancy driving to work in ice, snow or floods!
WELL DONE TO EVERYONE WHO'S MANAGED A STAR TODAY!!!
AND WELL DONE TO ANYONE WHO'S MANAGED TO DO ANYTHING AT ALL!!!0
