At last - have access to the internet again!!!!!

first weigh-in tomorrow night  Have absolutely no idea how much I've lost - I know I must have lost some as I can now hold my tummy in slightly. But I'm determined not to step on the homes scales until afterwards (just to check that they're accurate). But I do feel a bit nervous - silly really as everybody is there for the same reason.

Anyway, well done to all those that have lost and good luck to those that perhaps didn't but are going to this week!

first weigh in this morning - 2 pounds off.

I know, I know, I know I should be positive , 2 pounds off better than 2 pounds on etc etc, but I was hopeful for a bit more with it being my first week and having such a large amount to lose.

However, I've done a whole week of green days (and I have eaten loads of free food!) AND I had that day when I had 60+ sins so I will see 2 pounds as a good start and look for a target of 3 pounds loss this week.

well done Keren - that is good. Plus, I've been reading in the magazines where loads of people on their first week were disappointed only to be really pleased the following week where they lost more than they thought they would. :)

Keren - I think 2lbs is really good, especially as you say you had 60+ sins one day! The think I love about SW is that you can just keep eating and still lose!

Good Luck for tomorrow Chris too! There are a few of us with Tuesday weigh-ins!

Chris - i was really nervous on my first weigh in. After all the effort of eating well you want to be rewarded don't you!? I've found out my home scales are totally inaccurate but i still find myself on them when i'm feeling a bit nervous about the class weigh in - i just don't pay much attention to them! Hope yours goes well!

Keren - again, i felt the same as you when i lost 2lbs on my first week. I haven't set a weekly weight loss goal as i'm worried that if i don't meet it i'll be disappointed. As with yourself, i just keep telling myself that at least it's starting to come off and, even better, i'm eating more often that i was when i wasn't on the diet! Try not to be so hard on yourself! And congrats on the loss!

    Hi Gals and Guys
I'm leaving my official weigh in until tomorrow but according to my scales at home I've put on 1/2 lb this week hmmmm I've been so good too..anyway I thought I'd risk a disappointment and measure myself in the hope that it would be good news and it was! I have lost 2 inches from my bust (thank God it's not more from there) 5 inches from my waist and 2 inches from my hips not all this week of course but overall. So I am happy because progress has been made.

Well done Karen29 60 syns is a lot so you have done really well to lose 2 lb.

Good luck Chris and all others.

My first weigh-in today. I'm not going to any class, just getting support from you guys on this thread.
I aimed to lose 3lb from last Monday, and this morning had lost 4lb :) I'm very pleased.
I went away for the weekend and didn't over-do anything, even the wine!
As the week has gone on I have found it easier than I imagined.
I used to go (years ago) to SW and the weight dropped off. So last week basically followed what I remembered from then. I always did better on the red days, so only had 2 green ones last week.
I think the diet has probably changed a great deal from when I used to go. So this week I intend to look at some of the info posted on here and pop into the SW website, if I can find the password, and catch up on what's new.
Looking forward to next week and aim to lose 2lb.
