Di I seriously dont know where you find the time to do all this but you have a heart of gold-clearly.
Now a daft question regarding the cheque, who would it be made out to?
LOL, aww thank you for your lovely comment, I seem to go into overdrive......:o:D:A.
It was LLoyds wasn't it?
Its not a daft question so not to worry.
I normally make it out to LLoyds TSB Bank PLC or LLoyds TSB Banking Group, either should be fine.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Gawd they don't half make you jump through hoops, dont they?
Just got a letter saying they need a signature in order to process the SAR. We did sign the original letter, but we've also been given the option of collecting from the branch. Im going to choose this option because at least it will be sent through their internal mail system so no blaming royal mail if we dont get it-and it means I dont have to wait for DH to get home to return the slip.0 -

Hi, can anyone help. I took my first loan with Lloydstsb in 2000 and over the next few years topped it up, or finished and took new one. My current two loans were took out in may 2004 and may 2006. one over a period of 84 months and one over 60 months. I wrote the template letter to Lloyds for information on these two loans and so far have recieved data back for one loan account. It states on the letter the amount for "loan for loan protection insurance. Does this mean I am paying interest on the loan for ppi as well as on the loan itself. There is also a copy of my signature for the loan and ppi on this. Does this mean they will say i signed so cannot claim. I did not realise I did not have to take insurance from them and also I believe at the time I would have been covered by my employers if I was on long term sickness. Also I took redundancy from my job a year ago so as such cannot claim on this anyway. What do I do now.0

Hi and welcome
For the reasons you have on each loan ppi taken out, then give it a go, link below is useful, check it out and then further down the page you will find Stage one FOS questionnaires to complete, this is instead of letters, and these were recently issued by the financial ombudsman service (FOS) for customers to use.
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance
So for each one, complete separate questionnaires, as long as you have the loan account number (which is also the insurance number as the loan is paid for in one lump sum every month), and keep copies of all of them.
They have 8 weeks in full to respond.
With my experience of them, they are not the easiest and may try to fob you off by stating "because you signed" blah blah, but not to worry, we have all had to sign and still been successful, but you have your reasons to reclaim, so go for it.
Good luck, please keep us posted and ask for help anytime.;)

I have just had a letter from Egg following the SAR letter I sent 4 weeks ago, it states that they are not under obligation to provide any details of executed accounts. They have also cashed the £10.00 cheque I sent, I did call to ask why if they aren't willing to provide the information they still cashed my cheque. They have apologised and refunded the £10.00 to my bank account.
I'm at a bit of a loss about what to do next though???0 -

Hi there
Is this account still active or settled?
If settled then how long ago?
They should supply info going back the last 6 years.
You could contact the Information Commissioners office (ICO) for some advice on this matter...

I have three closed accounts, activated and settled within the last six years.
Thanks for your advice Di, I will contact the ICO and may submit the FOS to Egg in the meantime without the paperwork.0 -

Your very welcome, maybe they will have some suggestions for you here, as said on my other post on your other thread, if you have the account number, give it a go anyway, sometimes they do come back with an offer, (even if they have nothing on you sort of thing).;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
