You should've been paid by now. Paid in on the 2nd, dated 1st.

Does anyone know if that affect to your credit rating? i.e. if you open 3 accounts and later on (e.g. 3-4 months later) you apply for a mortgage, can i get rejected because I did open too many bank accounts?

Large numbers of current account applications on your credit files can affect future credit applications (because it can make it look as though you were being rejected for credit), but the numbers we are talking about here are too small to worry about.

still not got my £5...don't understand why?

anyone else who just transfers in £1000 from another halifax account and then out again get theirs?

also how have you guys got 2 or 3 of these reward accounts? i tried for another and got declined yet i have 2 high interest accounts and previously had 2 regular savers!!

Yes I have been doing this for the last 5 months.

I first transferred my HICA into a Reward account in February when they became available, then about 2-3 weeks later I went online and opened up 2 more within minutes of each other, although later on I think they started clamping down on multiple accounts.

I transfer £1000 from outside into Reward Account 1, then transfer it through 3 other rewards accounts, then transfer to the last one which pays my credit card. Got my £25 as normal this month

As I can't be bothered with all that, I suggest you ring them on 08457 20 30 40 to find out what's happened to your £5.
