As title really.
'P' shaped showerbath v's straight bath with screen.
Really need opinions. Do shower baths have less bathing area (at the body end, not at the shower end I mean).

Im a fan of the P' shaped showerbath, unfortunately my bathroom wont need revamping for a number of years. But I have installed a couple for friends.
Looks the perfect solution ( unless you have the room for both)
The only thing i would point out, the screen needs a lot of room, to swing out, to enable
the cleaning of the bath.0 -
You can buy P shaped baths in just about any shape and size, so have a look at a few. We love ours.0

The screen on ours can be swung in (against the wall, covers the shower) which makes the bath easier to use as a bath, and also easier to clean. HTH.[0 -
I'd prefer that Bennifred. Do you know who the manufacturer was by any chance?Herman - MP for all!0

I think all screens 'swing ' bothways !! but when you push the screen 'inwards' how do you clean the inside of the screen .
Hope this is clear ,0 -
Further quick thought , position of taps. Could that hinder the 'swing'.
The ones I have installed, had the taps on the lower wall side.
If you do think of installing the set up yourself ,I went with the more expensive , glass rather than plastic screen. looks wonderful. but struggling with a section ( of glass) that size was 'scary'0 -
I was mulling over the thought of having those taps that come out from the wall (sited at the short wall) at the shower end of the bath iyswim.Herman - MP for all!0

I had a P shaped bath, with taps on the wall adjacent to the glass screen, the taps fit into the curve of the screen. I had no trouble swinging the panel in (or out) to clean. However I found it easier to simply climb into bath to clean it. Be careful, if you swing the screen too frequently the seal may wear quickly.
I also had the fitment where the path stopper is activated by twisting the overflow which I thought was very neat."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
