Sorry Happypig, I didn't mean to be huffy about it.

Hey, no worries! Haha - "huffy" - haven't heard that expression in ages! :D

I agree I always like to thank the OP if I win. I also like to put the OP in the title too. I had not thought to PM the poster though, is that the done thing? Please let me know if thats what most of you do.
It is also my pet hate if the winner does not click the thanks button if someone congratualtes them on their win.

To be fair, I do most of my comping at work and for some reason my work comp won't let me stay logged in so I can't click the thanks button everytime although I do appreciate ppl posting, maybe others are in the same position?

And also when it comes to comps people win and are not posted on here, I think a lot of people could be scared of posting due to all the replies saying 'this has already been posted' I know I was worried about posting the Times cinema tickets thing in Grabbit now (2187 views, 10 thanks)

The thing I hate on this site is the people that just turn up everytime there's a hoxton/lastminute sale on and start quizzing the other members about it, grabbing every last deal they can & disappearing until next time

I must say I am rather concerned about this thread as I posted a win yesterday however really struggled to find the original op as it was for X factor tickets and there have been loads of competitions for these.

However I did state I couldnt find the competition however did thank whoever posted anyway

Why are you concerned?? Have you read the OP?? The problem is people who don't say thank-you at all - you did. Or people who don't try to find the op - you did. The op even states the search doesn't always work.

Not really sure why you're concerned??:confused::confused::confused:

agree it doesn't take a mo just to press the thanks button to thank op's for taking the time to post comps, sometimes it is hard to find the original op as some of the prizes come from diff comps, so i'd say "thank you to all" who posted this prize to be won,

my pet "not like" on here is the people who continually bump up the posts just to say "the links not working, or, still a problem, still an error etc" when it's all ready been posted that there's a problem, why does it take 3 or 4 more people to keep repeating it

I might not thank them if I post on here a win, but I always try to search them out and pm them a quick thank you message.

Now I just need to do some winning!!

I had never thought of sending the OP a PM but I have just received one from a lady who has won on the Cadbury's comp I posted and I thought it was soooo sweet. Hand on heart I had never thought of doing it myself but I was nice and really brightened up my day :)
