So your boss want you to come into work tomorrow at 12 and he hopes that somehow the money will magically reappear.
You need proper advice from professionals.
Even though this is a franchise they must have operating procedures and these are not being followed.
Is there a head office that can be contacted?0 -

as it stands at the moment...its an internal investigation....probably if the boss ( who didn't know if the money was at home, under the desk, lost etc) can prove they didnt take it...the buck moves to someone else...if someone "admits", they "accidently" took it by mistake , that will get the boss out of the $h1t...if they don't, the $h1t falls on the boss who didn't follow procedure, forgot about the money...or left it under the desk....
either way, I would be asking my employer to alert the police, before any evidence to support your claim disappears, its not unheard of for security vids to get recorded over...
finally, if it gets "sorted" without involving the police, you may find if you walk from the firm, you have no control over what may be said once your gone...think about references to a new employer....or simply the chinese whispers that will innevitably start....
personally, I think the boss is at fault for "misplacing" the money in the first place....I would bring the police in...if they can't prove anything....your employer certainly can't
good luckI'm now a retired teacher... hooray ...:j

this is gonna sound so silly but iv never had dealings with the police how do i go about bringing them in?i will get there!:beer:0

for a start, refuse to accept anything your employer says, if they want to accuse you, dismiss you etc, contact the police...they must have something to hide...perhaps their procedures are at fault....take legal advice...most "first interviews" are free
just read some of your previous posts dated 05/02 ...have you left the job?....sounds like you "walked" as your boss advised you....also, as regards procedures...money wages...your employers business sounds like a complete shambles...although if you have walk....its starting to sound like an admission...or have I read your posts wrong?I'm now a retired teacher... hooray ...:j

If you are totally occocent and you know you are I would insisst on getting the police involved - Tell your boss this and get him to do it. If they are involved somehow in the theft or loss of the money they will try not to.
But in all honesty for your and your futures sake i would insist.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
