    Hi Numpty, it was fine. I have to say I had heard horror stories about people having bad experiences with the people at the JC but all 3 people I came in to contact with (one on the phone for the initial call and the 2 ladies today) were all really lovely. In fact the last one asked if I had applied for any of the jobs there as she was sure I'd fit right in! Sadly, they all closed last week and I hadn't applied as I didn't think the environment would suit me but it was a real eyeopener and not as bad as I had built it up to be.

    Funny thing is I just got back and logged on to find a have a second interview. Both with the NHS (admin/hr) in 2 different places but on the same day!! Not sure how to play this yet.

    Wrote last week OH being made redundant, it's not official till 27th Feb, then he gets 4 weeks notice, which we don't know yet if he has to work, there is a slight chance he can start a new job on the 3rd March, just wondering how it would affect his notice period and redundancy pay, been on the Berr website, but can't find anything related to it, any help will be most welcome.

    You should think about setting yourself up as an s/e adviser - you seem to be able to put your finger on, help and get hold of the right info for people in diffs.
