  • Are they really open on a Sunday Numpty or is it your initial phone interview?? I remember I had a phone interview first then had to go to the actual job centre.....It just seems strange that the job centre would be open a sunday... But what do I know??:rotfl:

Did you send your application off for the job you mentioned?

    Hope it goes OK tomorrow
  • Well done on the job interview. Fingers crossed for you.
Job Centre open on a Sunday...!!!!???

In all my years on this planet (and there have been many years!) I've never had an interview on a Sunday...had a lie-in instead - not even for part time work.

    Good luck though.

  • My god, the Job Centre open on Sundays, a real indicator if ever there was one, hope your interview went OK with them?

Good luck with hearing back from the job, keeping everything crossed for you, having just spent 6 months out of work, I know that feeling of waiting, waiting and then waiting some more....

Oh thats not so bad then Numpty. I go for my interview on Wednesday and I am really nervous. Did you go in smart casual or business smart? I am not sure what to wear, ridiculous I know but its just something else for me to worry about.
    Boots Card - £17.53, Nectar Points - £15.06 - *Saving for Chrimbo*
    2015 Savings Fund - £2575.00
  • Its great that you're so positive Numpty, am sure it will help you, when you get interviews that will be the difference, and has to help. Have you registered for any agencies yet? Could be worth it, depending how many hours it could be and any benefits you will get?

Boomdocker - If you're talking about job centre interview, I used to go in my jeans, haha, its a number game for them, a real going through the motions exercise and I really dont think they give a stuff what you wear. I think that if you are actually looking for a job and want to work they find that more surprising than what clothes you are wearing, in my experiences anyway.....
