Awww.....go on Numpty....blogs are what you make them. There's every type of blog under the sun out there....through from people just doing a sort of online diary of their "daily doings" to more informational ones to the hugely intellectual ones. They are what the "blog owner" wants them to be. So - dont go getting put off by having noticed that my blog has very little personal Diary type stuff on it - I'm just being very "private". Most blogs are MUCH more personal than mine.

A high proportion of "bloggers" just do everyday diary type blogs - so yours could be a sorta combination of everyday diary account of your own jobseeking/dealing with Benefits Office/whatever on the one hand and useful articles/links you come across on the other hand that you think would benefit others (and would also be a useful way for you to keep track of those links yourself).

Its very easy to send webpages across to a blog - one doesnt even have to type in the "address" at the top of your screen. If you have the Google Toolbar - then its possible to have a little "thingie" on that toolbar to use for doing the job very easily
(on mine I can see a little chevron >> about 75% of the way over and I click on that and it comes up with the 2 options to either send it to my Googlemail or send it to my blog).

You can do it lad - I have faith in you.:D

I've been having a further thought on this Numpty. If you've just looked at my blog and the ones I list on my blogroll - then I can see that you might well find this a bit offputting - as these are of a very different nature to what you might be thinking of - but you're the owner/you set the rules if you do your own.

So - dont pay any heed to my Blogroll (where basically the blogs I have listed are those that I personally want to go into on a regular basis - ie pagan and environmental).

Instead - scroll right down to the bottom of the page in my blog and you will see a different heading "Blogs by M.S.E. friends" - under this heading I have listed blogs by virtual friends I met on M.S.E. - and these are much more "personal" type blogs. Its not possible to click on the links for them - but you can just type them in the "banner" at the top of your p.c. screen and get to them that way and take a look at them. These blogs are a very different style - and one that I think would appeal much more to you.

- at which point Hester would be reminding me "Dont forget to point out its x-rated ceridwen!!" (as there are a few posts in there "not suitable for maiden aunts" - but its a "Daily diary" type of blog - its just that a few of Hester's days over the course of the blog are a bit x-rated).

.....though the "artwork, etc" isnt a mandatory part of a blog I have to add....just as well...as I'm pretty techno-illiterate and wouldnt have the first idea how to do that sort of stuff on mine:D

rubbish news about the rent increase here you go, maybe this will help : :grouphug: .

Surely if not working you dont have to pay any though .

I think the whole benefits 'system' is very odd; seems to me that he/she who shouts loudest & coarsest & does the least to help themself gets the most out of it. I was once informed by benefits agency staff that I wasnt helping myself by being too honest about work :rolleyes:
