each person finds what suits them best with surveys, clicks, mys shop etc.

i had a good day earlier in week - a mystery parcel turned up with 2 large bottles of a useful product for me to test, i had my £10 tesco voucher from valued opinions turn up plus i was able to get a £10 voucher from pigsback too as i won 182 points in a competition!

i do 3 main survey sites, ebay but i don't do mys shops. quidco is good for cashback on stuff you need anyway.

i regularly check tk maxx for pressies all year round - including designer stuff - especially in their sales.

Hi ICAWSM just read this whole thread. Well done on getting a letter sent out - dont know what it said i you removed it but judging by the comments it was a good one!!
So pleased you managed to get out of bullying and controlling relationship quickly, but sorry to hear the hassle that you have now been getting.
Although i suspect the reason you have heard nothing back from his solicitors is that they know he has no grounds to stand on!

Like Flower08, I have just read all 5 pages of this thread and I would just like to say well done. As mentioned by someone before, being a police officer takes a certain kind of person. And your ex obviously doesn't fit the bill to say the least (pun intended, lol)! The fact he insists on calling himself an Enforcement Officer instead of a Parking Attendant just sums it up completely. If he was a bin-man, he would be a “Waste Disposal Technician”. The fact he has to big-up himself in that way and bully other people shows he's not a man at all. Well done for standing up for yourself.
I know you want to move on now (talking about upping income, and all that). But I would just like to say your story has truly inspired me today.

This man is a bully and a coward. Try and find the strength to stand up to him, he's a bully and won't be able to handle it. The threats to tell your boss are empty, he can't prove anything and your boss is more likely to believe you than a stranger, surely? I hope you sort this out soon, my heart goes out to you. It;s difficult to believe someone would do this kind of thing to another person, but unfortunately there are some bad people out there. Please let us all know how you get on.

I feel really good, I have read through the threads posted by RAS (thank you) and have been clicking away like some demented idiot but I can see piles of pennies mounting. How satisfying it is going to be giving presents that have cost me nada.

Will pop into the sealed pot challenge and see what that is all about too (thank you Unknownstuntman!).

Then on to enter some competitions too

Hi Icanandwillsavemoney - the Sealed pot challenge is simply that. you make or find something to seal and not open, and then you simply pop all your lose change in - however much you have and whenever you can and want. We open them on 1 Dec 2009. Last year i managed just over £500! It's a craxy but friendly place to be.

Feel free to come and have a look! Glad you feel a little stronger. Keep your chin up lovely, you'll get there.

icawsm...can you do anything like babysitting etc? I initially did surveys (and still do some - ie valued opnions) but soon got fed up...make money now by flogging jam, jewellry and by babysitting...its just about finding what works for you and your circumstances. Well done for picking yourself up...dfd of 2011 not nad at all - mine is about 2014 and thats on a good day!!
