To get my texts off my phone, I just connect the phone to the PC, and using the software that came with the phone, it synchronises and they're all in there and you can print them off, that was the case for my Nokia phone and also my Sony one now. Hope you get it sussed
Good luck with your union, has to be a positive step doesnt it, at least you will have the info then, instead of worrying about things possibly needlessly...0 -

He gives out parking tickets.

What a nasty little git. Not all men are controlling bullys like this. The above info really interested me as I'm a serving copper. I would hazard a guess that he was booted out and failed his probationary period as he was found out to be a bully and not a nice chap.
I can only offer hugs (i've got big arms!) and agree with the excellent advice you have already received on here. 400 texts IS harassment. Excellent thinking keeping the emails and texts and logs of both. I'd recommend taking them to the police and getting a restraining order on him.

Update - long one!!!
Spoke to my boss this morning during my one to one and he said...... 'it's a civil matter, we as a company would not be interested'!!!! He is so the best boss ever!! Then he has asked if I had been in touch with employee assistance - a confidential helpline which provides colleagues with free legal help and advice! I called them and the letter below is a joint collaberation.... let me know your thoughts:Removed just to be on the safe side.0 -
What a fantastic letter, and it's great that you now have some support with this situation. I'm really glad you spoke to your boss as well, it sounds like his support has given you the strength to fight back against your ex. Good luck with this and let us know what happens! xPROUD TO HAVE DEALT WITH MY DEBTS0

How are you doing with the advice re your SOA?0 -
I personally would not offer a statement of affairs unless it came to court (which I doubt)
I would also add that any contact must now be by his solicitor and any diect contact by him will not be acknowleged, will be classed as more harrassment and will be reported to police with the email and text evidence0 -
excellent letter but can i sugget you hit edit and remove the contents of the letter BEFORE you post it, as I would not want ex to google it and find your thread. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

I also think it might be worthwhile not to offer an SOA at this point.
However, that is an excellent letter........well done you.
