just realised my company isnt actually on the list, when really we should - anyone know how we go about adding ourselves to this? It would be a shame that clients missed out on our £395 deal!

It's from youandyourwedding forum. I think you need to be recommended by a bride as I certainly didn't add my name!

It all works out good in the end.

Another photographer here, just want to add another vote for Roy - very nice chap, excellent wedding photographer. I'm quite surprised he has two sub- £500 packages.

we've booked Ecco Photography - he's based in Glasgow and is £500 for 300 images plus on DVD. He does up to ten hours for this, so includes preperations to just after first dance. He is reportage style, which I love!

    Thanks so much!

Have been looking for a photographer for quite some time! The first person i clicked on actually lives less than 5 mins away from me :) So hoping that when i phone tomorow he may enter into a little bit of haggling!!

  • I can wholeheartedly recommend Arcadia Photographic in Bath as photographers with some serious cred and as people who bend over backwards to get what you want.

Arcadiaphotographic-dot-com (sorry, apparently when you're new you can't post links?)

Dave from Arcadia completely 'gets' the whole wedding preparation angst thing, he's willing to work with the Bride & Groom on their vision for the event and doesn't expect that you're going to want a 'standard package' or that your wedding will be a 'standard' affair. He has package rates, but that's for the prices...not the service!

The Arcadia team have photographed live bands, models, architecture, done gothic shoots, album covers, landscapes etc - they're diverse, artistic and most importantly - they really LISTEN to what you want and delivers; as a Bride to be I cannot think of anything more important!

I called Dave from Arcadia to photograph my niece Kristina's 18th Birthday Ball in S!!!!horpe this May. This was a last minute booking as we weren't sure of the finances at the time - he assured us he would work within our budget and boy did he deliver! Kristina is a professional ballroom dancer and a complete drama queen to boot and she loved every single one of the 460 images he delivered to her the next week on CD.
Needless to say, he's had four referrals from her party already and two weddings on the way - mine included!

Arcadia has quick turnaround times on your images, are unobtrusive at the event (nothing worse than having to step over the photographer all night!), have two photographers at all times, work nationwide and have deals from just £250!

ROTFL, just realised I sound like their spokesperson but I promise I'm not, just a really happy returning customer (you all know what it's like; when you find something awesome for a great price, you want to scream it from the rooftops! lol) .

    Hi Doc,

Thankfully it's not THAT Arcadia...the one's that have had issues are 'Arcadia Photography' - Dave is 'Arcadia PhotographIC', a completely different company, I can assure you.

Dave has recently become aware of the issues with the OTHER Arcadia and is at present looking into a possible name change for his company as he wants to disassociate himself from them as much as possible.

If you need any further clarification, let me know ;)

Is that a serious comment? The emoticon makes it look like you're just taking the p*ss. If you know it's 'definitely him' perhaps you can give specific supporting information?
