Anyone else find Earth a very scarey place to be?
********
nah Ceridwen. Earth is ok. It's what's living on it thats the problem !
It's easier picturing yourself as a column of white light that gets taller and taller and heads for the stars..But I dont think it will solve the bank crisis. just make it go away for a bit ! LOL0 -
Good point mardatha.....beautiful planet, shame about some of the people we have to share it with.....(obviously not including us O.S.'ers!)
It is such a shame...we have been given one of the most beautiful, fertile planets in the Universe....and then look what we do to it...0 -

Those were the days my friends
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day!
We'd live the life we choose,
We'd fight and never lose,
For we were young and sure to have our way.
Lalala lah lala, lalala lah lala
Those were the days, oh yes, those were the days.

Did anyone see Jodie Kidd on 'Who Do You Think You Are? last week?' One of her ancestors (who was later made a baronet) was arrested for stockpiling food during WW1. It was such a scandal he left his mansion in Northumberland. And built another one in Kent.
I wonder how long it will be before we are all breaking the law?0 -

My son tells me that Millwall FC will be getting the main arena for a new football stadium. The rest, according to some wag on another thread, will be used to house all those who refuse to go back home after it's all over. Shouldn't think there will be quite as many of those any more.0 -
This thread has gone way off the topic of moneysaving Old Style. Please read below what Martin has to say about keeping threads on topic.Martin wrote:KEEPING THREADS ON-TOPIC
Please try not to take threads off-topic. This can be confusing for new users and makes it especially difficult for people coming through from the email to find the information they want. Where requests from Board Guides for threads to be brought back on track have not been followed off-topic posts may be removed. We encourage community, but not thread derailment.

I don't know about breaking the law,but I have to admit defeat.I can't stash away anything else,I've just no room. What on earth am I going to do now,I'm going to get withdrawal symptoms.0 -
We have all written a massive amount about money saving.
Money saving alone is not good enough, we need strategies for coping mentally too. This period of time may very well be the worst we have ever lived through and I personally believe that we `aint seen anything yet` and it is up to all of us to support each other.
No-one can money save until they are mentally ready, just look at the debt free threads. Thing is, our ms lightbulb moments started 2 1/2 years ago and maybe it is time to move on from this thread to a blog somewhere. We have turned into a cheerful group of friends, who will get through this TOGETHER with or without mse0 -

I have to agree Kittie.
I was feeling really scared about what was going to happen, but now I just come on this thread for a read and a sense of calm comes over me. I now feel safe (I was going to say warm but maybe not! lol) in my own home.
I think it's the feeling that "we are not alone":)Do more of what makes you happy:)0
