2 months and counting ... their application process is an obstacle course designed to prevent those of week stamina ever getting their accoutn operational.0

I would imagine that tesco is the most fraud proof bank around...
The crimimals will not have the patience to deal with this shabby system lol0 -
Also have a Tesco Internet account. 6 weeks or so and I'm finally able to log in - after having problems getting the site to let me register a couple of weeks back.
However although I can see the transfer authority (Direct Debit from my Current Account) the site will not let me make any transfers - apparently I have to wait 14 days after it shows as active to actually use it?!
I'm also fairly reluctant to add to the £1 that I opened it with... I'm just not sure the extra interest is worth the hassle.0 -

My card reader arrived today! So from first trying to open the internet saver on 20th December it's taken 8 weeks to have the account fully up and running - and they already knew my details as I already had an instant access account with them.0

Hi - I posted this to another thread, but it is probably more relevant here. I sent my stuff off on 5th January, and didn't get a reply. After leaving what I thought was plenty of time and then forgetting, I rang this weekend. Apparently the account has been set up, but no letter? They will send me another one (they said) so hopefully will all be working soon. My advice, if you haven't heard - ring them. Like me, they may not have sent the letter? or sent it wrongly to someone else? not sure. But anyway it is worth a check. They were very nice on the phone btw.0

I sent off the paperwork on 3rd Jan , the cheque was cashed on 10 Feb and I have no idea if they will take the first DD on 1st March!0 -

Welcome to the wonderful world of Tesco P.F.
I sent my cheque off on the 15th December & they eventually cashed it on the 12th January. They failed to collect the first direct debit on the 20th January but they have collected the D/D due on the 20th February. I have still not received my 'Welcome pack' so I do not have an account number, access to my account online nor the ability to credit additional funds to my account.
This level of customer service is on a par with Abbey or Barclays during their Tax Beater ISA fiasco two years ago.0
