Small payments always go through fine for me, 70p for some DVD's, £1 for signing up to a website... but plenty of companies seem reluctant to pay out as soon as you get to larger figures like the £40 that should have been paid out when i took out a mobile phone contract or when I changed insurance.

You're getting free money, you really should stop moaning like a child with a grazed knee.

They're not getting their money, that's the point of the thread.
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

It's not always FREE, the company gives commission to quidco, and quidco choose to pass it on to you. They DONT HAVE TO. Its not free in anyway your buying from them!

    One of these could happen:

    * The transaction was "lost" and you need to get in contact with the affiliate network

    * It was awarded to quidco and the affiliate network paid them.

    * The merchant declined it even though they knew it was legit/mistook it for a fraudulent transactions.

Quidco simply need to contact the affiliate network in all cases and they will investigate it!

Even if halfords did leave the affiliate network they would still pay quidco, they need to clear all sales before they leave.

Cashback will stay for ever, companies dont have to pay per click (like google kelkoo etc) and only have to pay per transaction, this saves money!

Many companies are declining more often now and are closing there programs.

    Here's another possible option:
    * Quidco get paid, but deliberately don't pass the payment on.

Ive just had an update today saying they will investigate it. Thats the same sodding reply i got when i asked them to look into it 7 months ago! ! anyone any contact name who to escalate this further?
This is about the poor customer service. I have made 10 or 11 tickets and they have said they will look into it. Nothing takes 12 months to resolve.

You may be onto something there. . . .

    12 months to simply investigate.

Quidco have had some excellent publicity on this website for a long time now.Even articles on the TV and in the press has put this cashback company ahead of alot of the others even maybe on top.Oh and that was free publicity and brilliant for the company.
I bet those fantastic Christmas party pictures really cheered up alot of members who still hadn't been paid out,for whatever reason.

They even dug into their own pockets to pay up before they even got the cash from the affililates.I don't buy the fact that the company can't afford to do this again.Or is the problem of non payment alot worse than what they are telling us.
The bad publicity will stop members using the site ,especially for larger payouts. This may have an adverse affect on their premiums they receive.Time will tell.

If a member has a lengthy outstanding payment then I am happy to read about it and you have a right to moan about it.Remember one day it could have been you!

It's a little unfair to say they deliberately keep the money and don't pass it on.
They appear to be improving again, but unless all payments are made, expect a ranting post to apply the correct pressure.
  • I have recently had a payout of just over £70. In the last 18 months I have had approximately £240 paid out. I am on the whole quite happy with Quidco.

Though I have joined Topcashback as well as they do cashback for Travelodge, which Quidco no longer do.

I asked a question about Quidco on the Moneysavers Arms. My first attempt to use it gave a car insurance price £50 dearer than the direct quote from Endsleigh. Is that usual?

Back in the good old days we used to get a reply on here. Now the plan is that
'Dominic at Quidco' replies on a Wednesday around lunchtime. This is done on the referals board so you may want to get your question in before that.
Also the Quidco Blog could help.

Are you absolutely sure that all the information asked for was exact. Were they done almost together. So no days missed.
Unless they have just applied a price increase.Especially if a new month.

Can you run the same quote on topcashback or cashbackkings if they offer the cashaback?
