how do we not know that quidco are not pocketing the money that they state that they never get from the company concerned.

i walways use topcashback - becuase they promptly answer your emails and everything tracks and pays when it does

even though quidco has more companies that they use it appears despite their promises beg of last year to sort out all the old pending stuff they have failed to do so.
  • Look, it's Quidco's sole purpose in life to run this cashback site. That's their job. Of course we all know that there is nothing much we can do if the money doesn't ever arrive. Nevertheless, it is certainly worth fussing and moaning to Quidco, and publicising on this site.

The squeeky wheel gets the oil. Keep on at Quidco and perhaps they will put more effort into getting the money for you.

For me, I have just under £800 of free money via Quidco for which I am grateful, but I am still complaining to them about what is outstanding - and I do think Quidco have got worse recently.

    Keep fighting!

I've got something from 2006 that is still outstanding. I raised a query on Quidco and didn't get a reply so just forgot about it. I got a reply about 2 years later saying they're still looking into it! Never heard anything since then.

Another experience with Quidco is that the company I bought from didn't have the item in stock but I still got £100 cashback!

I have had more successes with Quidco than failures! The two that I am very unhappy about are 25% with Ancestry which was declined due to the reply from the merchant stating: Response from Merchant. Declined - Merchant is no longer working with the affiliate network. Halfords has been outstanding since march 2008 stating: The status has changed from sent to merchant to successful. The ticket has been closed.

Other than these two I have nothing but praise for Quidco. I am still amazed in these tough financial times that cashback sites still exist. Long may they reign:D

I have just looked at Quidco and see that Ancestry are still listed as giving 25% discount

I got coop car insurance on 12th March 2008 and have just been paid the cashback after a year of e-mailing quidco. The thing is according to quidco coop confirmed the transaction within a month of quidco contacting them, but then took another 9 months or so to pay the cashback.

The same thing happened the year before on my house insurance.

I don't use quidco any more.

    exactly ????????

when they dont as people have mentioned above answer their emails in relation to matters that are outstanding for 2 years then you have to ask

if you go to their blog and see that theyhave a number of staff their then you know that they are not understaffed

You're getting free money, you really should stop moaning like a child with a grazed knee.

Why would a kid with a grazed knee complain about quidco?

It's not always FREE, the company gives commission to quidco, and quidco choose to pass it on to you. They DONT HAVE TO. Its not free in anyway your buying from them!

    One of these could happen:

    * The transaction was "lost" and you need to get in contact with the affiliate network

    * It was awarded to quidco and the affiliate network paid them.

    * The merchant declined it even though they knew it was legit/mistook it for a fraudulent transactions.

Quidco simply need to contact the affiliate network in all cases and they will investigate it!

Even if halfords did leave the affiliate network they would still pay quidco, they need to clear all sales before they leave.

Cashback will stay for ever, companies dont have to pay per click (like google kelkoo etc) and only have to pay per transaction, this saves money!

Many companies are declining more often now and are closing there programs.
