My DS best comment was that (after slaving in the kitchen for hours everything homemade)

'ITS NOT AS GOOD AS SHOP BOUGHT'

    OR

'ITS ALMOST AS GOOD AS SHOP BOUGHT'

We had just met OH when DS went through this phase so we now tease him terribly if something is really nice or if DS has cooked something

I say 'well, its almost as good as shop bought'

Maybe they were trying to tell me to buy nicer stuff???

Catch up in a bit - revised doc in this am - argh

I see hamster has been upto no good again - BOB ta for the link - will look properly later.

Lurking alot on the OS board at the mo :) mind you I am still wading through the saving pennies thread and Mbaz feed your family thread so another thread won't hurt.

    Hampster.....what's a tchikudu?

    quote]

the Tchikudu or Chikudu, is a bike made of wood is omnipresent in the streets of Goma.
People there work bringing down bananas from the top of the hills so they made big wooden bikes to bring more down ,to earn more money. They look like a big bike/scooter and if they crash they just find some wood and fix them and carry on, looked like fun if a little scary. Then at the bottom they load them into a lorry to get a lift back to the top.

Paid an extra £5 to the scary hairy loan
Got another coal bill - need to double check
Forgot about lunch til 3pm so had cereal
Put £100 into OH account as he travels and I don't really so when I can help I do help

OH is here and up having a shower - he's redoing his bathroom so I think coming 300 miles for a shower isnt the best really
BRB has got the nod of approval.

No idea about weekend plans but I do know I need some logs chopping :)

Oh think my office mate is keen on room - so will get a final answer from him on Monday. Hurrah.

getting very excited about the thought of writing alist on my freezer door with my dry board pen - sad sad sad girl. am going to do a meal plan for as much as is there

Don't need much (if any) shopping but do maybe need 'nananas and veggies

Rewrites are horrible, I am knackered! My technical document is now no longer technical - don't ask me seemingly keeping me in the dark is 'part of my training'
If my other supevisor asks for it to be retechnicalified - I might slap someone
I have been told to be less technical about renewable energy policy, global warming and co2 etc  whislt is not rocket science by any means its certainly supposed to be some kind of science surely?????

Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
