Anyone about? Just been down the chemist, I'm a little poorly. Picked up some stuff and had a spray of the new gwen stefani perfume, its probably aimed at teenagers but who cares. I like the smell of it.

Is that the Harajuku Lovers (or something - not entirely sure how it is spelt??) the bottle looks lovely - I'm a real sucker for a nice bottle!!!!

I've finally nearly finished a bottle of Stella Macartney that I got ages ago so thinking might treat myself to a new bottle of something lovely. I'm on holiday in a few weeks so might check out duty free.

New perfume is such a treat! I love when you wear a new fragrance and you can smell it on yourself - definitely lifts the spirits!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

It is that one, they do 4 types :- angel, music, baby and love. I think Love is the nicest one.

I have loads of perume though. Including lots of bottles of my former favourite Britney Spears. I can't really justify at the moment another bottle of perfume. Though if I get everything else listed on ebay, as i said I might treat myself. Incentive if you like. (Even though I REALLY don't need perfume)

You see that's the advantage of snails - no handbags to worry about.

  • Update for today

Glumness seems to be slightly shifting - gave myself a good talking too last night - here goes:

Today transferred the £60 quid from OH from Jan flight I paid for - whislt I get paid 5x less than him (yeah 5 times) he doesnt seem to be able to balance his budget and I often have to provide an interest free loan service - so its half the flight money from January. - ho hum - as its now gone from my jan budget its now in the evil loan

£5 wine money went in too - written a couple cheques lately so I need to make sure I watch for those coming out.

Cleaned the taps last night (oh how exciting my life actually is -- you can tell I have final write ups to do - the taps look terribly interesting) turns out the stuff i thought was black tarry paint stuff is just dirt - (NICE) - our kitchen is kinda retro - it got a full kitted kitchen in early 1960's - it pale lemon and white formica - I kid you not - but its so sturdy and functional its never been replaced - so the 50 odd years of dirth that seemed to be on the taps is now gone.

If you can remember village hall kitchens - its smaller but a bit like one of those - practical and lots of tea cups lurking in cupboards.

Finalising Shetland report to day - I figure if I can bill for just over £XXX quid then its worth getting my finger out and finally finishing the write up -- so lurking at home to get on with it this morning cos its supposed to be done already - whoops.

Beach later on - have given myself a stern talking too - so today I am going off at lunch time to find some shells - as we live in the windy wild unspoilt northerly niceness - figured it might cheer me up to actually see some of it :) - New jar of shells started in the bathroom

Must go back to boots, with my vouchers, went yesterday but could onlly see things that would cost loads to buy - so didn't get anything. might try againn later.

Hope you are all good - pancakes later on - woo hoo x

Well done on paying extra to your loan. Hopefully your OH will see better how to budget his money in the future. Mine is getting there slowly but I still get narked at him when he insists on takeaway (and noises up the kids about it) saying he can't be bothered cooking. There's loads in the fridge and freezer etc, so I see takeaways as a waste of money. Ho hum.

Not sure I understand about your wine money? We all need a little treat other wise slaying the debt monster become tedious and boring. So a little treat doesn't do you any harm. If its a fiver you normally spend, I know Tesco's do some lovely red or white for about 2.99, this would save you 2 pounds that can be put towards your debt, this way you still get your little treat. As for other treats, get onto the freebies board and start signing up. I forget half of what I sign up for then get a nice surprise when something comes through the door.

Parcel on its way tomorrow :o
