  • I think aragorn is over 6', unless he was standing on a box in LOTR as Liv Tyler is 6 or near and he was taller than her!

Yup, think he was tall enough. I saw his costume in a LOTR exhibition a few years ago, struck me then, that he was tall enough, although it did say on the plaque that the coat was never washed as he wanted to stay in character....not sure about that bit...

Are we sharing the same idiot as HP or have they all been cloned and sent out to cause menace and mayhem???????????????????

They have felt my discord and have disappeared with electronic devices - all quiet and mysterious - I don't trust them.

When I mentioned bed to DS (14) he did his best french 'pmumffff' to the sky as if blowing out of top lip and walked off. I don't think is signals compliance.

However, I have electricity - they have electrical devices - evil laugh - they won't win - may open bottle wine and pop on some wildly romantic sexy film and they will scarper pronto.

don't think you can have a film on whilst you restrict their electricity unless you have a wind up dvd/videa player.
I actually did something productive at work today - finished the paperwork off for my letters. Going to send it all off tomorrow registered, but they take the money then start saying but 10 years experience just isn't enough .... you've not written your record of experience correctly ......

Well done on the letters good luck with that

Ah thinking now - either I restrict THEIR electricity (perfectly legal) and watch a movie up on the wall - by myself ......................................or I do have a camper van and portable dvd players - feet up curtains closed - I could be anywhere but the drive - think of the petrol I willl have saved ???

Last year I always use to convince them that staying out in the van (in the garden) watching dvd's and sleeping over was such a great idea - this year its me who is thinking of escaping - how silly:D

but if you hadn't thought about it last year for them, you wouldn't have it in your mind now as your excape mechanism.

I had an excellent and infallible way of getting rid of teenagers. I purchased a small collection of bargain bucket country and western music. Absolutely guaranteed to clear the room of teenagers within one track...Could then switch the music off and have the living room to myself all evening, without hurting anyone's feelings:rotfl:
