There is nothing better than climbing into a fresh clean bed when the sheets have been dried outside!!!! Wish they could bottle the smell so we could just spray it around when we need a lift in the winter..........................December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Seeds um - I would wait til March - depends on what you are planting - best to do all the cleaning planning etc now than have leggy horrible seedlings that might not live too long - give it a week if you can sit on your hands xxxTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:

fayjmck, you are so useful to know, with all these gardening columns I keep thinking I've missed the boat and am late doing stuff.
But I planted broad beans in November (I was told that it deterred some fly they get) and there's not a sign of any of them sprouting......are they dead?0 -
I have bulbs coming up in the garden yet haven't a clue what they are!CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

Just leave them once it warms up a little they will probably leap into life.0 -
^^^Just as SM said as well - sure they will wake up when its warmer^^^ - gardening columns are great - but they often tend to be thinking about the month ahead and its difficult sometimes to hold back from doing things too early or thinking you are too late already. (I am the worst at it) Plants are pretty resiliant - I am a kinda chuck it all in and give it a go kinda gal
Unix - depends on the leaf shape as to what bulb it would be
Thin skinny leaves often grassy looking but chunkier - crocuses
Flat leaves in pairs largish - daffodils
Flat leaves in pairs - smallish - snow drops
Leaves coming up in pairs kinda bit in a cupped shape - tulips
Leaves of three very pointed v-like bluebells, muscari or big ones hyacenths
Not sure what other kinds there are - thinking - but that should help.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Anyone about? Just been down the chemist, I'm a little poorly. Picked up some stuff and had a spray of the new gwen stefani perfume, its probably aimed at teenagers but who cares. I like the smell of it. Old me would just have bought it. I sprayed a little of the tester on my hand. Might 'treat' myself to it if I can get the rest of my ebay stuff listed. Kind of an incentive iyswim.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
