Love the sound of your stripey bedroom Fay! :):)

And quite jealous about everyone naming their savings account! I'm with the Coop and can't name mine - does get a bit confusing sometimes!

Just had to have a good root round in them - Mr Daffs rang to see if I'd paid January's rent to him yet - er, no, because I stupidly forgot to hand timesheet in before Christmas, then payroll place shut over Christmas, then cheques were ready for pick up on Tuesday (cheques! In this day and age! Complete pain in the backside I tell you!), but I didn't go backto boss's house because we were running late, and she now hasn't put them in the post, so even if she does tonight, I probably won't get them til Monday, and then it'll take til the end of next week to cash!

    Pah!

Transferred rent from holiday fund to stop the poor guy from panicking but MUST remember to transfer it back again or whole budget will go pear shaped... :(

Anyway, hope you're not working too hard! First day of PhD Round 2 is going exceptionally boringly here - I've been the only person in the office all day, and I can't really do much til met with supervisors next week, so done lots of cleaning of desk and throwing away of paper!

    xx

fay, i have two tiffany lamps which are still in their box here, just not my thing.

i bank with boring old shabby, natwest & a&l. i have named my boring accounts in tesco's though.

thankfully i still love my fabric and can't wait to get started. spoke to the girl in the shop and though it's probably dry clean i'm going to wash it first so that if it does shrink it's before all my hard work. Not sure now how to get it all in a washer (may have to send OH to the laundrette) and more importantly how to get it dried.

Hi LT - you can rename your NatWest accounts - go in "View account details", (just below that summary that comes up under each account, once you've double clicked the line) & on the screen there's a button "change account name"

Sorry for the hi-jack Faye - wishing everyone on Faye's thread, Happy New Year stripeyness :D
