Well I'm putting the PPI money towards 'travel budget' so I might actually have a bit of fun too! You've got to build up to these things

Working today - trying to get this nonsense of writing to make some sort of sense to hand it in tomorrow -

Ooh, good luck Fay. Sounds like your helpful feedback was nothing short of downright useless.

Well done on the money saving though - nice to have something successful and cheery at least!

Just do your best today, that's all they can ask of you...

PhD Round 2 starts next week for me :( Back to w*rk tomorrow too - pah! Fingers crossed stupid boss doesn't make me drive in snow - might never forgive her and have to hand in notice - and that would be cutting nose off to spite face!

Hope you're all warm enough up there...

How do you do porridge in the slow cooker, I mean the ingredients are obvious  but amounts

ETA: I do love being decadent, I only eat Lurpak on my toast, don't you know :D

I've always worked on 2:1 = 2 water/one porridge ratio + large pinch of salt

Yay to someone making it properly. I work with sissy southerners who make it with milk/cream & sugar 7.gif, that is so wrong ;)

salt ???? yuckity yuck yuck yuck! lol

hope you'll still talk to this southern sissy :)

Hope things go well this week Fay, which ever way they go i hope we get the Fay back who is light hearted and full of her garden, chucks, children, pending 'you've pulled' occasion, and last but by no mean least the contents of your freezer. It's hard being at this distance and seeing (aka reading) you tearing yourself to shreds about this all.

Hope you don't mind me saying this.

    Hi Fay,

Sorry things are so positively rotten but good for you on the PPI front.

I wanted to drop you a quick line to say OH had his SAAS approved and is over the moon. He's getting a camera he's been salivating - literally :o - over and a braille reader plus some people support for exams and travel. So thank you so much for all your help. He had to abandon his last assignment because of a mix up with the books but now he'll be able to actual scan in material which a flatbed scanner cant cope with.

You're a great inspiration...don't let them wear you down, you're better than them all put together.
