nooooooooooooooo! i need chokolit and it's the only possible source in the house, and for years i hated brownies but now i'm addicted to them.

I've been excluded from the bedroom - OH is wrapping pressies :) so i'm not allowed in there so instead i'm panicking about brownies and watching Frost.

OK I wish we lived nearer - a) I'd buy your piano and b) I've got choklit

Presents you say (its not your birthday are these xmas pressies or anniversary pressies)??

    Ok Brownies
Janey's super works every time recipe

    Brownies
    8oz granulated sugar
    1 1/2 oz cocoa powder
    3 oz SR flour
    2 eggs
    2 tbsp milk
    4oz butter - melted

    Mix dry ingredients.
    Beat eggs and milk together.
Add to dry mix with the melted butter

    Cook at 180oc

This fits into the tin that Nigella bangs on about in her cook books, the lakeland traybake one thats 8" or so wide.

KK get DD to do the seeds then you will have it sussed.
OR send me the seeds and I will post you veggies - probably not a good idea - think of the airmiles they will need to travel to get to you!
My DS like your DD is brilliant at yorkie puds - he now claims the recipe as his own - he's planning on writing a recipe book of 'stolen' recipes - more of a helper than a hoodie but you never know whats round the corner do you?

Wasn't so long ago he wouldnt be parted from his tractors and wee cars. Bless

Great now I have an online storage facility for my bits of paper recipes!
....... Bit late for you now LT but this is my recipe (well Janes)

  • Morning all - into the breach later on (another meeting)

I may have actually had some positive feedback on my last assault on literature - (lets not get too carried away) will see how I am after my meeting.

They might have actually been 'nice' - ?

    Heading in, in a mo..........

wish you did live closer so you could buy the piano and provide chokolit.
found out i'd missed an essential ingredient in the mix - flour what a fool. So left with some sticky chokolity goo, seems to taste ok but not sure if should really eat it. Hope the meeting has gone ok. well done for getting good comments.

OH was wrapping chrissy pressies but has managed to wrap some which need to go back to the shop so we can get the till receipts correct - i did tell him but he obviously wasn't listening.

Come on then, how did you get on???
  • sorry had parents night and OH has just been diagnosed with swine flu - DS is OK now and I have been crook so Doc sooth is wondering if we've all had the same thing (but tbh I have not been that sick??)

Um how did I get on - actually caused a bit of an uproar and fought my corner and now my review meeting is actually when its supposed to be (which is early january and a bit of a bummer cos of perhaps needing to work over xmas but thats OK) :)

Writing is seemingly 'getting better' but still 'not quite there for doctoral level' had a frank and brutal talk with my 'nice' supervisor and told him to be honest wasnt sure if a phd is for me nor an mphil and he listened and stuff so both of us ahve gone away with things to think about......................

DS school stuff is fine except he's almost failing in German so he needs a soft stripey boot up the bum - and I reminded him we do have a GERMAN student staying with us.....so she has offered to help.
