hope DS manages to practice his german with the handy student.
glad you managed to fight your corner but sorry to hear OH has piggie flu, they reckon at work that i had it and therefore came back too early and gave it to someone else. I've had the jab now so should be fine for the future.
managed to win some money on bingo so that's £8.5 winning it's way back to me, not much but better than a kick in the teeth.

Mostly the piggie flu isn't too bad...... I had it back in June, and tho the symptoms lingered and lingered, it wasn't intense.... that was on my trip to my sister's house in France, and I still went out locally, even oiled the front door for an hour or so. Hope you're okay.
2023: the year I get to buy a car
  • thanks KC - :)

Today am plodding along - DD laptop sleeve thing came (its tiny!) and need to wrap that

OH is feeling pretty grotty - poor him - no weekend visit for us

DD's a bit out of sorts must figure that out later on..........maybe its her audition?

Lots of treats (from stripey stores :)) and children in need later on with a carpet picnic and a semi-sleepover (more of a flop) in the lounge later on to watch children in need.

hope you find out what's up with DD. You've just reminded me of a stripy present i've bought so should get that sorted and in the post for someone.
OH's scooter battery is flat! he needs to get it sorted so we can put it in the paper and finally get it sold. Glad he checked it though before someone came to look at it.
We'll be watching some of children in need but not all of it. I tend to get a little bored with it (please don't shoot me)
got to decide before my hair appointment, do i go for my usual colour or do i go nearer my natural colour so i can start colouring my hair at home again? Saves me to do it at home but then i take ages to actually get around to it and make a right mess. decisions decisions.

  • Peedie update for Today
Banks ok - well considering its nearingthe end of the month

My store cupboard is depleting - which is nice yet oddly not nice to see at the same time

Quidco just tracked my £68 earnings from viking direct (woo hoo) so thats a good one, just shows you always have to check
Nowt tracked from Dell yet either - dunno if they are slow or I am doing it wrong.

Need to rake around the store cupboards and freezers and come up with some teas for next week.

DS chopped some logs and is generally on the mend - he's doing chores befroe he goes away

Going to take my lodger girl out to see some baby seals later on today :)

Aside that not much happenning - OH didn't come up so the weekend is a bit odd

Got a £5 charge for a late payment on my CC (eh - it was neither late nor was it due as I'd cleared the balance - Ineed to check it out - its only a £5 charge but its MY fiver not theirs

I do need to sort out the bathroom drawers (my life is so exciting) we're running low on hand soap etc and I am pretty sure I have big bottles of bath stuff stashed somewhere to fill them up. And seem to have oodles of conditioner and NO shampoo - which also can't be right.

    The joys

I was brave yesterday and emailed my landlord and said OK are we having longer or are we out in August 2010 - I've had two enquiries now for the bedsit downstairs as we have a new influx of studnets in january who are looking for a year's accomodation. So its worked out amazingly well as a mechanism for paying off debts so I need to see if I can take anohter one - and If you don't ask you don't get I suppose!!
