Ooh, quite a quick trip then! Very exciting!
Rock God (otherwise known as Mr Daffs) is having a great time, and phoned me at 2am to inform me of that (!)
I'm afraid that I got so BORED of working, fed up of being here on my own, sick of him having a cheery holiday while I did horrid PhD, that it all got too much and I burst into tears and ended up going to a friend's house for a bit of a moan, a tiny glass of wine, and some crumpets
Slept for nearly 10 hours in her attic, and am back home, armed and ready in new stripey socks, red chord trousers (the only ones I can do up - oops), and stripey t shirt, and doing battle with the 7 chapters I have to finish to hand my draft in TONIGHT.

Morning all - Lucielle - yeah mines is a grey/brown/orange mixture looks kinda like a chunky hairy mclairy!
They are such cute dogs and I am so missing mine!
We all met Daddy after a fun weekend of catching up with various friends for the kids and then we all got together (me, kids and OH) to go for a lovely walk at the botanic gardens in edinburgh - which at this time of year is gorgeous because of the autumn colour! The new westgate building is open and we saw lots of squiggles (squirrels).
I started studying there when DD was 4 and DS was 6 and we always walked there and every tree with squirrels we'd say hello to them and (Naughtily) I'd give them all names (Fred & Molly) etc for each tree we saw - the kids were convinced and always have been that I know the names of all the squiggles in the gardens.
This time, however, DD was just saying - um - how can you really know them..........is it a sort of fairy story. Convinced her that of course I didn't know them before I started there, but when you have your induction you get told all the squiggles names in relation to the trees you learn. As I know the names of most of the trees she was almost convinced.
She seemed a little unconvinced but said hello to Bob and Martha anyway. The idea that the squiggles don't have names of course didn't enter her head!
Morning all - in sunny Fife about to finish decorating a bedroom, catch up on emails and sort out how I am going home..............:)
Hope everyone's fineaway for a mooch and a check of my banking. I seem to be haemoraging money in this mainland place (not quite but its scary 4 £10 have just disappeared.........)
