That sounds horrendously complicated! Well done on the train tickets though, that's crazy cheap! Hope you manage to get home on Sunday - if you are stuck in Aberdeen you are welcome to give me a shout. I wouldn't fancy spending the night down at the harbour!
I'm loving the names too, I really need to think of some. Something evil for my virgin card and something dictatorial for my main account...hmm, will come back to you on that.LBM 17th August 2009 Debt at LBM £18,612 Proud to be dealing with my debts.0 -
Morning Katy - no its not complicated I'm from Dundee and my best friend and her family will pick us up from train - the kids have all known each other since they were bumps so they really llike to catch up. DS has decided we can stay all day but he wants to come to KDY with us on Saturday night.
Oh lives in KDY and so we will spend the Saturday night with him down there and DD's bf from school is there a few houses away so she'll havve some girly time!!
And we all horse off the airport on Sunday evening.
Thank you for the offer of not sleeping in the Harbour!! Bit of cold, wet and ?dodgy? place to sleep I would have thought!!
Think up something vile for the virgin card- I want my main bank account to be fat hence the fat controller
Eh - computers sound very sweet!!
Waves to LT - I only discovered a while back that you can name them, its an option on your account settings! Have fun.......Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Sounds complicated to me, that number of people all taking similar journeys *and* all getting to do things they like to do with best buddies. You're obviously taking it in your stride, tho, nice one, Fay.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Sounds worth it Fay, and well done on your exceptional organisational skills! I've slept on the floor (or rather a very comfy sofa/bench thing) on the Aberdeen/Kirkwall ferry, and it was very comfortable indeed!
Sounds like you've got a lovely time planned
I've got co-op bank accounts, wonder if I can change names?? Makes banking far more exciting! I'm NOT going to change bank accounts just so can name them though!
Just waved Mr Daffs off on the trainGot a bit teary in station like pathetic woman in a film
Mixed feelings -
- bit sad (he's gone til Saturday)
- bit scared (very pathetic about being in house on my own but it's about time I got over it!)
- VERY jealous - he is being rock star on tour and I'm staying at home writing bloody PhD! Bah!!!
Still, being positive:house to myself for 3 days - hooray!
can watch silly girly films or ALL of Harry Potter videos in one go!
Will get lots and lots of writing done
can eat cake all day and night if I like
sun is shining and he will have a great time away from me for a few days and then we'll have a lovely reunion on Saturday
So will endevour to be cheery rather than pathetic -0 -
(((((((Hugs cheery daff)))))))))
Think of the positives - do you have any girlie chums close that you can plan a girlie night in with
PS - loving the idea of an all night HP fest
ppS enjoy the lovely freedom and crunching in the autumn leaves
PPPS remember reunions are lovely
PPPPS - for you and LT - I just renamed one of my new savings accounts '4bumface' - they didn't like the swearing and penguin chops (I have a loan from him) is in my bad books so I enjoyed creating an account just for him. ((((LT you rock!!))))Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Oh Fay, that's SO going on my list of things to do tonight!
Must start thinking of suitable names for accounts in case I can change mine (will be very disappointed if I can't!)
I have four:
(1) ordinary boring account
(2) ordinary account am meant to put rent/van money into but generally don't bother
(3) cheery savings account (with about £44 in)
(4) ISA that i never use for longer term savings (of which there are none)
Hmm. Might have to be more motivational than rude - I like the Fat Controller!
(our internet is called Hedgehog, by the way)

My internet isn't called anything
It is however used as a weapon of mass obedience (no complying with da roolz - no internet)
I've been known to unplug it and hide it.
I like fat controller - its my ambition for my bank account (?)
Glad you sound perkier
