Well done on the firmness Fay :T A little (peedie?) bit of assertiveness now should ensure that you are not walked all over in the future. (that's the theory, though it IS scary sometimes

Whereas it is hot and sunny here :rotfl:
I'll be lazing in the pool after the guys have been to clean it
However internet connection is rubbish - it crashed when I looked at your attachment!0 -
Its cold here, Fay, tho not windy or raining. Olive, I'm definitely getting jealous! And as for swimming............ omigod, omigod, omigod, I could *so* do with a swim in warm water outside............... ah well.
Fay, sorry things were tough over the weekend - if somebody had said that to me, "time for you to be going, I've got things to do", I'd have been really shocked, actually. I'd have gone into automatic and just done what she wanted, and felt really carp afterwards. A walk on the beach, even if it still leaves you muddle headed, is exactly the right thing - and then come on here and vent, of course!

hi Fay, back officially from holiday as am back on MSE.
we had a lovely time, relatively frugal but not excessively so and we had a lovely time. Had a great day yesterday as it was our first wedding anniversary, went out for a nice meal to finish of a normal pottery day but at least it was a day we spent together. OH was terrible at suggesting what i could give him as a pressy so i made him an exploding box with lots of messages and stuff in it including a pop out heart. i've also told him i will get him a couple of days fishing at our local lake when he wants to go.
OH had his interview today, i was a jittery nervous wreck and he was very chilled about it. I think something went wrong with that equation somehow! He's been told he should find out within 2 weeks, but he's made some more decisions about his current job if this one doesn't materialise.
Just done the accounts for the month and updated my signature, well over half of my total debt paid off now and over 2/3rds of Diavolo paid off. Can't see how i can pay more than the normal monthly amount and my 'basic overpayment' this month to Diavolo but it's still a lot of money to pay off so i shouldn't grumble, i just want to clear it as quickly as possible and 12 months early just isn't good enough.
It's going to be tricky this month, going to have to only spend on petrol and groceries, and even groceries are going to be cut back. OH went freezer diving this arvo and it's obvious we only need cat stuff and fruit and veggies for most of this month so fingers crossed we'll be able to stay on the straight and narrow this month.
sorry to bore everyone, but i've got a weeks worth of chatting to chat up on lol0 -

LT's back wooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooo
Good sock saving cutting off your leg - but probably hard to walk - I was thinking of cutting my belly off - but where would I keep my food?
LT - swimming is good for you - go for it if you can
Personally I HATE IT
