well done on the ppi for cap one. I reclaimed on my fees from them and it only took one letter.

Glad the class went well..do you have more planned?

Hey Lady hello - :) waves

Yeahh 12 weeks in total over 7 months - next week its shelter, soils and herbs/salads, seed catalogues - I volunteered somehow or other to bring in my soil testing pH kit (well Edinburgh Universities soil testting kit) and do some soil testing for folks - not sure how that happenned but it will be fun

I see you are going to the Dec Festive Fling :rudolf:- I was hoping to be down again in Oct - no idea if you are around but did wonder if you fancied a cuppa? Am going to see if I can swing any 'training' at work around the Fling to be able to come.......

I will be chained to a paint brush at OH's but will surely need to walk doggies and might manage to finally catch up?

Olive in our house going down to Mr t and the Co-op after 8-9pm is called 'The Pilgrimage' - both DD and DS love going down (I think its the reduced do-nuts and cookies that I won't normally buy but at `15p' I can't really say no to them) - I think living on an island most things are more expensive BUT Mr T's here have a policy of reducing everything down to 90% (or often about 10p)off after that time if they are going out of date, it costs so much to take the stuff away they'd rather get rid of it here.

Lucky for us as there's always bread, often cheese and lots of fruit and veg needing saved.

There is a ramshackle selection in the freezer but so far its saved us a fortune - hence the low shopping budget :)

Runs off in Pjs to get ready :)

I like the sound of those Mr T reductions! Sadly, even an Express Mr T is an hour's walk away for me, so not really practicable. But today, in London, I'm in reach of a Sainsbury's *and* while the reduced offers are on. So I'll go in there about 8.30, I reckon - its rare, but fun when it happens!

  • :) I dont think there is much 'fresh/frozen' in my house that doesnt have a label on it - paying over 27p for a loaf of bread seems outrageous now.

With that and my 'stripey socks store cupboard shop' in the garage - we are really hammering the food bills :)

If we move out of town it won't be 'practical to do it' but at the mo - its a faff shopping in the evening but its certainly worth the effort whilst they do the silly reductions - Co-op is always good too :)

    Enjoy London :)

Thanks! ... but argh.... it mentions rugby dates... that means chaos in my bit of town on the 14, 21 and 28 November 2009 with Rugby... Booooooooo - 3 weeks in a row is cruel! There are only so many hours you can put up with someone playing the bagpipes at the end of your street before wanting to kill someone! :rotfl: I'm going to have to plan those days VERY carefully...

Ongoing fight with Quidco not working very well - £75 cash back untracked - I had to wait for 3 months to query it - grr now can't find the quote number - (have deleted the email yonks ago as had said yeah immediately to the policy

    PAH PAH PAH

On the up side - I have bought 'most' of the computing equipment I have been allocated from my DSA through quidco :) and so far most of it is showing as tracked

PS Bank charges - do I start and try to claim now or wait, I get so confused :)

I think its best to start it now as then its recorded as the start date of the first letter even if they say its on hold and if your going back six years waiting to start latter you could miss out on some charges as the will be over 6 years by then.

thats my penny's worth for today :rotfl:
