    How is everyone? Thought I'd have a nice relaxing last few days.....no not to be. Going to be VERY wicked. I fancy pizza for lunch (even though I'm supposed to be dieting!)

    Have finally reached the last page!
    Fay, can I be added to the list of potential proof-readers? I was going to suggest this but by the time I got this far in the thread it's already been suggested. My background is in biochemistry and medicine so not very horticultural but I reckon I can adapt. I've written a thesis and a few papers etc and do a bit of work as an editor too sometimes so maybe I can help? Although the extracts you've posted on here look pretty good to me I have to say, and the comment from your supervisor didn't really make sense so perhaps the problem is his??
    Hope everyone else is still enjoying the sunshine and the fruits of your labours - DD and I picked strawberries this morning for the bus-ride to work, yum yum!

    Good vibes, Fay, to you and all the academics. I've been keeping tabs, but don't have anything to add, so I've kept out of it - I left academia many a long year ago, and at a much more basic level than yours, so I've no clue about the things you're struggling with ... but just popping onto the thread now to let you know I'm thinking of you and yours.
