    Hi all!
    Just been away for a couple of weeks (half holiday, half work) and got back to find I have 29 pages to catch up on!!! Not much work will be done this afternoon I suspect! Hope you're all enjoying the wonderful sunshine!

    been busy like it seems everyone else ,

    we have a special guest staying with us this week all the way from the USA :j
    I have to cook dinner for her on thursday night :rolleyes:
    so folks
    any typical british ideas apart from toad in the hole and roast beef .,
    (shes 20 if that makes any difference, eats most things , had fish & chips already),
    I have to eat it aswell so semilina , sago tapioca ? are all non starters.

    Already treated her (subjected her) to this week, :o
    asparagus wrapped in parma ham cooked on the BBQ ,

    Three types of tomato roasted peppers & salad leaves tossed in Balsamic etc,,,,in a loaf,

    Little Gem Lettuce leaves topped with goats cheese and drizzled with Caramelized Balsamic Vinegar

    BBQ chicken , english BBq burger (mr sainsb finest)

    Chantilly cream meranges with strawberries raspberries and blueberries drizzled with a Thyme ,strawberry & blueberry coulis.

    So any ideas folks ,

    Steak and ale pie
    Pie??

    Shepherds pie
    Mince and tatties
    Gammon and eggs
    Pork chops
    Sausages, mash onion gravey and yorkies?
