I know the answer - one plant per plot - 256 plots - 2-18 stems per plant
(fingers and thumbs um - about 1500+ ish stems)

    cut them in field
tie them together and label each plant
then take each plant and for each stem (2-18 stems)
    measure length
    measure diameter
    measure dead bit at top
    wiegh it
    write it all down
put a label on an envelope for EACH STEM
put each stem into an envelope
cook each stem for 4 days at 90 degrees
take it out and allow to cool
    wiegh it again
    write it down

Then when you are good and are on your second set of socks you can do some analysis on it all. :)

    hi fay
really hope your report writing goes ok. i know i am being thick, but doesn't spell checker sort out most of the spelling, or is what your writing about too technical?

    best of luck!

Hiya chev - yeah it helps its more structure and grammar I lack and the writinng is a bit techy I guess :)

    Morning all

I won something last night - its a surpise, whilst its not the prize its the lovely thought behind it - am really chuffed :) and a bit shocked.

Gardens half planted with veggies - slugs flung like crazy last night - trying courgettes outside - silly idea but couldnt resist it.

Away to pick some flowers for my desk :)

    Waves to you all

??????? is this a method of preserving bums?????????????

Why do you want a tiny bum in 100 years - surely you need a bum now or your legs would fall off?

    YOu've all gone mad

edited to add, don't you just hate it when you think of something to say, log in, and then get distracted? So that by the time you come back you can't remember what it is you were going to say.....sigh
