I don't have any advice on the OH scenario setup, although it strikes me that both Olive and Chev are giving excellent advice.

Don't tie yourself in knots over it all, it will come right when it supposed to!

    much love

Fay when it's bad, it's bad though.
Today I feel fragile and weepy - so I know to be really gentle with myself.

Other times I feel strong, invincible with Popeye's invisible support and I am flying.

    Just not today
So Hugs (((()))) cos it's pants sometimes. :o

Morning All, sorry I've not been about. Had some pretty bad news and not really feeling like talking. Didn't want anyone thinking I was being rude.

I'll be back once things settle down hopefully.

my OH and i did long distance romance from day one until about 6 weeks before we were married. Ok it was only 100 miles but it was still a killer and we saw each other on average two weekends a month, but i still remember the misery of taking him to the train station on sunday evening and having to say goodbye. In the end he moved here but still had to take the leap of giving up a job he'd been in for 19 years. have to say though that married life is fab, and though i sometimes feel i saw more of him when he just visited for weekends i do appreciate seeing him every day.

Unix - hope all is well, you know where we are when you're ready to chat.
  • Hey LT - ta for that

we have a classic case of 'stubborn v. stubborn'

    He won't give up work
    I won't compromise kids environment

Therefore best to take the rough with the smooth, no amount of whining is going to change much I guess - onwards and upwards

As I said to KT today, in the name of those great modern day anarchic poets........

    'When chewing on life's gristle
    Give a happy little whistle.......'

    Jumps in of Fay...

I am always moaning that Mr.B doesn't stop away long enough..in fact ponders Cunning plan:A:rotfl:
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:
  • Wanna post him here - couple biscuits and some water he should get here in one peice - i can keep him in the shed/garage/woodshed/potting shed/greenhouse - then post him back if you like.

Plenty of room in the house of course - don't want him to feel too comfy though!

PS good or bad point is sometimes post office loses stuff - ?
